    Nodes should be alternating before you induce flowering, the only way to sex is to bring out the flowers with a 12/12 light cycle. Pistols gooood... balls baaad. Try covering one of the lower branches with a paper bag for 12 hours a day and in about a week you can tell (on the covered branch)...
