Wuts craccin everybody?!! I read somewhere online that if you switch to a longer night cycle while budding, (say 10 on 14 off) it'll stop the plant from growin a bit. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I'm goin into my 5th week of buddin and this thing wont stop growin. I've been trainin the hell...

hell yea, definitely appreciate that! Thankfully its been level since the last flush or the res. By any chance do you know at what stage of the plant to switch to the bloom nutes? (if using a 3 part fert) Is it when you switch the light cycle or at first sight of a bud? anybody?:confused:

Hell yea, that's what I was gettin at. I know the 12/12 light cycle is what gets it buddin. I mean, no shit that's common sense. But the the color temp does stimulate specific types of growth.

Hmmm.... Not necessarily. The intensity of the sun's individual spectrums varies from season to season. You don't wanna confuse the plant into thinkin its one season when its not. Besides that, the guy at the hydroponics store was pretty avid about which light to use and when. But hey, they're...

LOL! Hell yea that's whats up. But yea definitely use the lights for their specific stages. Its suppose to generate denser buds that way. I just ordered both spectrums too a couple days ago. Cant wait for them shits to come in.

Naw, the 6500K gives off light in the blue spectrum which is for veggin. The 2700K is in the red spectrum which is for use during budding/flowering. I dont think you're supposed to use them at the same time. And besides, that's alot of damn lights aint it?

Dam, hell yea. I didn't realize thats how the pH down works (ratiowise). But yea originally I was putting the nutes directly into the res but then started just mixin it in a bottle and adding as needed. Im thinkin it might've been the air stones though cuz since the last rinseing my pH levels...

Is anybody having any problems with their pH slowly raising throughout the week? I'm gettin kinda tired of dumpin this dam water. It goes too high to safely use a pH down. The water I use is distilled and is perfect when I put it in there. I'm using half dosages of BC nutes and 2 5inch air...

Personally, I would definitely trim. Its healthier for the plant and helps you develop the shape you want. Just make sure not snip any that might produce more nodes. You're probably gonna wanna keep those.

Oh, and I was thinking about putting my nutrients in a gallon of water and adding to the res as its empties. Does anyone know if this will over-fertilize or have any negative affect on the plant? thanx
