    Maine Outdoor 2020 (first timer)

You can always cover the pots with plastic if it's going to get really cold, like below freezing and there is a threat of frost or freeze. Plants don't show sex until they sense the light cycle is getting closer to 12/12. This would naturally occur in late July, early August in our neck of the...

    Maine Outdoor 2020 (first timer)

We have cold temps forecasted with lows in the 20's this week. I'm waiting a few more weeks to move pots outside. They will be in a room in the garage with a heater starting Thursday. My basement is getting too crowded with my veggies started too. I start everything indoors since our season is...

    Maine Outdoor 2020 (first timer)

Also, i would transplant out of the seed trays to at least plastic solo cup size and keep whatever lights you have very close to the seedlings, like 8 in ches, etc...I use a 400 watt HPS for seedlings and they are in solo cups, the autos are in the 5 gallon buckets since they don't take to...

    Maine Outdoor 2020 (first timer)

I'm in the Adirondack Region of NY State, 800 foot elevation, and i grow in 5 gallon buckets with good drainage. They get moved into the barn late season if the weather turns crappy. Not preferable, but we get hard freezes and even some snow at times in late September at night if the weather...

BROWN Pistols but CLEAR to CLOUDY Trichomes. Harvest????

Yeah, depending on the size of the plant, 3 gallon pots might be too small. The root bound plants I mentioned were in 5 gallon pots buried halfway in the ground so as to not blow over from wind. The plants were six feet tall and bushy and became root bound.

Indoors Spring 2020 auto grow... Join me...

I have only done a few autoflowers, and they were small also, but not that small. It looks like it's either over-watered or lacking nutrients. The yellowing leaves indicate an issue.

Indoors Spring 2020 auto grow... Join me...

I once used plain old soil and mixed in blood and bone meal. They were fire!! It was a blueberry strain, and I never added any other nutrients. The strain dictates what you need to add based on it's vegetative state. You can tell if they need nitrogen, cal mag and phos, etc...There is a ton of...

Indoors Spring 2020 auto grow... Join me...

Just put my beans in water for a 24 hour soak. I ordered from Nirvana. Growing Master Kush, an auto named Lemon OG Haze, and some beans from last year, Raspberry Kush. I'm way up north in NY State, 800 ft above sea level, short growing season. Most strains will mold here in late September, so I...

    Are my plants flowering

I've had strains revegetate and only grow three leaf sets the remainder of the grow, and bud output was hurt. Yeah, wait a little longer next time, like end of May.

    Strains for outside

I order seeds from Nirvana. I grow at 800 feet above sea level in the Adirondack Region of NY State (North Country). Any kush strains or kush hybrids do well up here. I have a short growing season, so i start seeds indoors now, and put them outdoors by June 1st. This year's lineup features...

BROWN Pistols but CLEAR to CLOUDY Trichomes. Harvest????

I grew Skunk #1 once and the hairs were all brown and curled into the bud, but the trichs were clear. I found out the plants were root bound, causing an issue with the grow finishing well. It was still good pot, but didn't taste as well as it should have. The potency was decent, but could have...

    ATLANTIC CANADA!! best outdoor strains?

I'm not too far away in the Adirondacks of NY State. I grow at 800 ft above sea level, and I stick to Indica strains or Indica Heavy Hybrids. Last year, I grew some Raspberry Kush, got the clones from a friend, and it did decent but had to bring into the barn and finish with a 400 watt HPS in...

    Outdoor grow Northern Quebec 2020

I'm just south of you in the Adirondacks of NY State. This year I am trying Master Kush, some Lemon OG Haze autoflowers, and some seeds I got from a stressed Raspberry Kush from last year. That was some nice, tasty bud. I order seeds from Nirvana usually. The growing season is short here too...

    Northeast weather 2017

Looking like mold weather to me. I am hoping my four super skunks from Nirvana don't start to mold or rot with the daily threat of showers and cool temperatures. They are all six feet tall, and the buds are looking good, but an October finish looks reasonable. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

    Your latest seed purchase?

I am growing Aurora Indica from Nirvana. Cream Caramel from Blimburn. Maui Waui from Sativa Seedbank. Seeds came from Single Seed Center several months ago. I use this company for a few reasons, never had a problem with delivery and good selection of strains. Only issue I have is that they...

    Anyone else need some rain!?!

Same here in the North Country of NY. I am growing an Aurora Indica from Nirvana, one Cream Caramel from Blimburn, and the other was supposed to be an Aurora Indica, but I think either the Single Seed Company sent me the wrong seed or I mixed it up with a Maui Wowie, which if is the case, I hope...

60 days seed to harvest.... white cheese auto beast

Just popped a seed of this strain...It's having a hard go of it due to low temps in the basement. I was running a heater for my other plant but the electric bill got ridiculous. Temps are a steady 52-54 degrees farenheit, closer to 60 just under the lights. I have 6 -68 actual watt CFL's, plus a...

    What's wrong with my plant!

Overwatered, not enough lights, too small of pot. That about sums it up.
