Replacing 600w HPS, help me DIY please :)

I have built a few lights now and can say i like the PCB's from https://chilledgrowlights.com/ more than the cxb3590 cobs. On my next build im going to do it all in PCB's. The two images are my last two builds both lights are pretty close to wattage draw but the first one gets better coverage...

Replacing 600w HPS, help me DIY please :)

Grows great there is no change in density, it has a better smell and taste now i think bc of so much less heat. One thing is you want to have a nice even canopy so you can keep them nice and close and have that penetration power.

Samsung 561C bin S6 voltage help plz.

When you run things in series Volts add and when running in parallel Amp add. So say each diode is 3.6v max and 350ma max but you want yo run it at 700ma and you want to have 520 diodes. Than means you are going to run 260 diodes and run them in series and do that twice then take those two sets...

Replacing 600w HPS, help me DIY please :)

with new HPS bulb about 60-65% of the watts are making just heat so that means about 360w is heat and 240w in photons. Leds ran at lower amps like 1.4 for cobs or 1.05A for PCB's only about 30-35% of watts make heat depending on how cool you keep them because the cooler the led is the more...

SensibleSensimilla this is a pic of my second led build before pcb's came out. in this one i tried adding in diodes to get more reds and blues but it was not as effective as i would have liked these pcb's in combo with the cobs make a great looking light.

Help Me Choose: DIY COB or Quantum Boards - 4x4 Flower Tent

I think your best bet would be to upgrade it in two parts. first buy 3 more 3k or 3.5k cobs and run a set or two under that, save some money from them then add in 3 90w pcb's. Which would give you above 700w total LED for about $1000. I really like those pcb's because of the controllable reds...

    DiY LED

If you have the ability to solder i would say get 4 DIY LED Grow Light PCB – 175W and (3) 200w drivers and (1) 150w. there are 4 lines on the boards that you'll power with each driver this will give you the ability to have control over the reds, whites, and blues separately giving you better...
