Need recommendations on an affordable, reliable Environment Controller

Hello all, I'm looking to add CO2 to my garden in the next few weeks. Could somebody please give me some feedback and recommendations as far as what equipment I should invest in. I don't mind spending a little bit of money for good quality, I just can't splurge for a $1000 Environment...

Could a few people elaborate on their experience with Cannaventure and Hazeman??

I'm just trying to prevent wasting time with some genetics I've received. I've heard some really bad things about both of these companies....Does anyone have anything good to say?? Like I said, I would prefer to not waste my time if somebody could spare me the trouble...

Who here believes in the "power of terpenes"???

Could you tell me what you know about terpenes, though? That's the knowledge I'm seeking. Not just "Yeh, terpenes are good, they exist, fuck it" type of mentality. I feel like terpenes could possibly hold the key to healing MANY ailments...

Who here believes in the "power of terpenes"???

Seriously, people?? No information? No interest at all? No rebuttals? What the fuck is up with this site? I didn't use over-the-head language at all...I know there is someone here that has some insight/knowledge to offer regarding the subject of terpenes!!!

Who here believes in the "power of terpenes"???

I am a rare individual, at least in my area. Most people believe the effects of cannabis are solely dependent upon the cannabinoid levels, and don't take into account the secondary resins produced, most of which are terpenes. Examples of terpenes include d-limonene, beta caryophyllene, beta...

    Fungus Gnats.. Venus Fly Traps??

venus flytraps require HIGH humidity, much higher than you would ever want in your grow room....Plus the increased humidity would only make the environment for fungus gnats even more favorable. So this is a double terrible idea.

Question about TH Seed's "Ultra Sour"

I've harvested a nice ultra sour lady, but i'm quite confused by the reviews and description of it. The herb I have harvested can only be described as straight up "limonene", like pungent limonene. The shit smells and tastes like you are smoking margarita mix. Anybody familiar with terpenes...

    Thoughts about pH.

pH is a big deal regardless of the media you are growing in....Phosphorous is the nutrient that is most affected and locked out of the plant. Any pH over 6.2 on a soil will cause a dramatic lock out of phosphorous. This is the most common problem encountered with cannabis cultivation...

A sea of trichomes (ice wax)

Type in Ice Wax Tutorial on youtube. Basically, I've just listened to what Matt Rize and Frenchie have to say about making hash. These two people have completely different ways of making hash, but both make some highly acclaimed product. Basically what it boils down to is.... Keep everything...

A sea of trichomes (ice wax)

This picture was just too ridiculous to not share....A big thank you to Matt Rize and Frenchie for the knowledge shared!! This water hash was made out of 7 grams of Nirvana's Bubblicious, and 6 grams of TH Seeds MK Ultra.

Bout to turn these flowers into some MELT

This is actually a water extraction....I've been listening to what a few people have to say about making hash (Frenchie and Matt Rize mainly), and have taken advice here and there from people. It's gotten to where my bubble hash is better than almost any oil I ever see. There is a thread...

Bout to turn these flowers into some MELT

Used 13 grams of cured flowers, yielded about 1.5 grams of 73 micron, .5 grams of 25 micron. Melts up like earwax. Cheers folks!!

Bout to turn these flowers into some MELT

I haven't had true full melt in a good while, mainly because I hate throwing high quality flowers into a batch of bubble. When I use trim, for some reason, I usually only get half melt. Anyway, these are some shots of what I'm throwing into the run, around 14 grams, cut up with scissors. First 2...

HAPPY FROG - Nutrient Level for Seedlings??

It definitely isn't the Happy Frog...My guess would be the HPS lighting. Seedlings don't respond well to red wavelengths of light, even well established plants in vegetation prefer a spectrum of light closer to the green/blue end. That would be my guess, though. Good luck!!

    Bloodwreck close-ups!

A long story short, I've been working with Chernobyl for about a year. I was able to force a hermie, and self-pollinate a batch of Chernobyl that I had. To quickly explain the mechanics of breeding in an understandable way: When you cross two "pure-line", or generally 80%+ homogenous...

Need help with fixing my ph levels?

Get a DI system...your pH will run from 6.22-7.1 depending on what meter you have and how nice it is. It's actually near impossible to accurately measure the pH of DI water, it has something to do with the stability that random minerals and ions provide. Soil pH is much more important than your...

    One week out...This strain sucks!!

Sorry guys I didn't snap one of the whole plant....Here are 3 more from a regular camera....And somebody asked how many kush strains I've grown...I'd have to say around 20-30. I don't have an exact number, but I know that it is well more than 10, but no more than 50. I don't live on the west...

Will higher fan speed help with heat?

In reality you are just going to be moving hot air around more efficiently. The way to deal with heat is the find the source, and mainline the air from that source out of your room. Exhaust fans with duct work and a closed hood (glass lens) usually does the trick.
