    Help me increase my yield!

Thanks for the insight guys. I have 8 tables in flower at any given time with 9-16 plants per table (in 1-gal pots). After some discussion with my assistant (primary gardener) we came up with fact that we may be over fertilizing them and also letting them veg a bit too long (making them...

    Help me increase my yield!

I have been growing for almost a year now and I decided to analyze my yield this month as a way of making positive changes for the future. I was told from an experienced friend in the business that a good yield is 1lb per light. (do you agree?) I have set my target on 12oz or 3/4 lb per...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

Thank you for the insight. I have disconnected the entire panel and I am running on backup circuits I have from another part of my property. Not ideal, but it will work for a while. The root of my problem still exists. Due to the location of my panel, hiring a pro isn't as easy as it sounds and...

    Is my ballast broken?

I didn't have an extra MH bulb kicking around so I switched the ballast to HPS and it still didn't work? With a new HPS bulb that is. I will try again though as I thought that was the problem too. I will try another MH bulb perhaps. BM

    Is my ballast broken?

This may be an electrical question, but I would love insight from anyone who may shed insight. I have a ballast that is a HPS/MH switch. Today it stopped working. Then came on for a minute every 30mins or so? It has been colder than usual here in mid Jan so that might be the problem as the...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

I have a strange electrical mystery that I am sure is easy to solve for someone with a bit more experience than I. Brief Background - I have a 100amp box with 8 spaces for breakers - a few months ago I had a short putting together an outlet that knocked out half the box and so every second...

Plant spacing indoor & outdoor ????

answer regarding indoor I am not sure the size of your show, but in my world and the world of many others, we think in tables/lights/trays. Each 'table' is a 4x4, with a 1000w. I usually put 9-12 2.5-3ft plants in there and they have good coverage that way. It will depend on how bushy your...

Most Profitable Strain for Indoor Grow

That is a tough and overlying question. I, like you, focus on maximizing profit versus having the sexiest buds. I appreciate your equation above, but I think your challenge is more multi-dimensional than you think. I have found the following to work: - a strain that is easy to grow (more...

    Profitable Use for Trimmings

Hello fellow grower, Like you, when I prepare my buds for drying/curing I have a bunch of trimmings still fresh with THC. In the past I have rolled joints with them and either smoked them myself or given/sold them to people as a means of getting some value from them. That worked fine when I...

Need advice as for if to harvest or not.

It is more important to make a buck soon? Or do you want the perfect smoke? If you are in it for the money as many people are but do not say they are, then harvest when it fits into your cycle with your wholesaler/retailers. You may get slightly different quality, but not much and if you depend...

temps at night fact or myth

Ideally temps wouldn't drop much at night, which is very possible given any op is a recreation of nature at the hand of you. My advise is this: 1. Get a local strain. I am in cold Canada. I see 40F/8C nights often this time of year and my plants don't love it, but they are used to it. They are...

Experienced Electrician! Here to Answer Any and All Growroom Electrical Questions

Wyteboi, I tested the main box and all four connections (both sides of each fuse) have power. I also tested the pony box and neither black or red has power. What I am doing now is tracing the entire main circuit as it seems somewhere between main box and pony box the line goes dead. Any other...

My situation has gone from bad to worse. So things have gone from bad to worse. I concluded that the red wire in the 100amp pony box was dead and hence half the box was dead. As a temporary solution I restructured the electrical needs of my space to run off just the 4 circuits still in...
