Well i have soem plants growing and i just found out that one or two of them are males, is there anyway to turn them into females or should i just get them away ASAP?

I'm new at the whole Growing thing. I'm not sure what i'm sposta do. I i have my plants In plastic cups in my window right now and they just started to grow, One is a couple inches and the other is about 5 inches. If anyone could help me out or give me some tips on what to do or what not to do...
