Well were I live we don't got tap water we have a whale so its fresh water I was told I didn't have to check ph so what do you suggest I do...didn't know it was so much work to grow some wife medicine

Ok I did some reading this is how I got the way to do this setup I attempted ok I got a 5 gallon fish tank filled it 4 gallons put 2 bubbles u use for fish tanks then I got a peace of foam cut it to fit the inside of the fish tank but I cut holes so my foam cups could sit just flat on the water...

I tried to do a hydro set right of the bat and didn't work can anyone help me do a easy set up with step by step instructions and things ill be needing anyone please
