One of my good friends has just completed his recent grow and his flowering room is open for about 3 more weeks.... I've been using cfl's for my entire grow and now he's wanting me to swap to his 400watt hps to finish up my last 3 weeks of flowering. Would i see difference from making this...

no i know plenty of friends who wait til everything is amber and then they harvest. It's supose to be a deeper stone sometimes

h it was my first grow on my own and when i decided i couldn't let it get any taller i started pulling it over so that i could focus light on the bud spots better working with what i had. I'm pretty happy with it tho : )

ya if your money is tight tho go with the cfl's look at your local lowes and find daylight 2watt/100watt replacement cfl's. These are ideal for vegging and if you dont go with an hps for flowering then just go back out and get the same watt cfl's in a soft white type instead of daylight for your...

or some daylight cfl's to get you through vegg then use the hps in your flowering. Go out and get just some 26watt/100watt replacement cfl's (daylight) so that there blue spectrum and then cover the top of your plants with the cfl's and they'll work fine till the flowering stage

12/12 is your best bet for flowering, you also want to go atleast 10 weeks in flowering to get the most possible out of your girls
