I had a good dig through that site and the daylight bulbs are all 6400k, do you think that would make much of a difference? I've not found any 6500k in supermarkets so i think i'm goin to have to try B&Q or Wickes and see if anythin turns up. If all else fails I've always got the internet...

Meant to add this erlier. With regard to your speed adjustable fans, unless its cheaper to just buy all the kit from the website you mentioned, i found an old speed adjuster for a trainset. Just as a foreword, my electrical skills are basic if anythin haha but i plugged it into the mains then...
