I have a 250w HPS and a 250w MH and was wondering if it would be worth the electricity to have the MH on with the HPS during flowering. Or should I just stick with the MH for veg and just the HPS for flowering? Any input is greatly appreciated.

None of the garden shops in my area stock ph down, and I'm having an issue with my soil ph (it is around 8). will the liquid aquarium ph down stuff from petsmart do the trick?
