Then I realized that didn't get the job done... At all. Then I went and got a T5 set up, had results... Added cfls, got it up to over 300w (5x 23w 5500k, 4x 27w 2700k, and 2x 42 2700ish k. Then I got a homebox 120 and realized I couldn't light it with all my cfls, so I decided I needed an HPS...

I guess I'll just learn from first hand experience on this then. Thanks for the lumens formula. It's not that I'm trying to stick so many plants in the area, as much as I'm legal to grow 12 mature plants. I'm trying to take full advantage of that number. I will let you guys know how it turns out.

Plus I've managed to grow half a closet full with just cfls up to a foot, I'm sure my hps can give me a lot better results than my cfl closet grow.

What do you guys call small? Cause I call my 2 foot one small, I'm growing in the homebox XL and iit's in a 5 gallon bucket and I could easily fit 11 more of that same size. All I'm simply asking is how much penetration a 400w hps has. I also have like 10 cfls that I could stick on the bottom...

It's a little ball that looks like it's opening. Should I rip them off or kill rhe whole plant? It has some nice buds going though... That was my old set up, it's a lot bigger and brighter now. 300+ watts of flouresence lighting.
