Correct dry off percentage for Coco?

Yea I plan on watering multiples times a day with big plants in small pots. I wanted the moisture meter so I can formulate the watering schedule as flower appoaches. I wanted to see if anyone worked at a big grow or has a meter and has particular WC percentage. I'm sure there is an optimal %...

That doesnt give out a % just thier own a chart? No offense to the tool I'm sure with some use you achieve good results but I need somethign a little more professional/accurate. $300 isn't that much for a accurate metering device.

Correct dry off percentage for Coco?

I'm switching from RDWC to DTW Coco for scalabilty reasons. Is there a general rule of thumb for coco Water Content % before water. Anyone have any papers on it or search terms I can look for. Not sure what ther terminology is for it since in DWC tthey just sit in the water. Not looking for...

DWC bubbles forming to the lid??

Lol i know what yucca is, I'm saying over another wetting agent that has even more benifits. I've tried CoCo Wet, Yucca, ethoxylated alcohol. and EA in my opinion was far superior for DWC even with the small amount of foam. I still use yucca in foliar though.

opinions on chem gro 4-20-39 and other CHEAP DRY NUTES

From my understanding base nutes can't be made much cheaper than most the dry guys are selling thier mix. The money saver is really in buying your own biostims and such. I order through alibaba a lot. Thats where I get my Chitosan from. Its like 1000x cheaper than Bud Factor X. Im working with a...

Can you run a recirculating reservoir for 2 weeks...?

Thats who I was paraphrasing actually. I love harvey and use a lot of NPKs products. N is a luxury to the plant so it will consume it all. He even says thats why ppl think flushing is a thing, because they run water through the pot and it washes out N first cause its the most easily removed...

Can you run a recirculating reservoir for 2 weeks...?

if your ec is going up that means u are over feeding. EC should stay the same if your plants are drink water and nutes at equal levels or drop if they are drinking more nutes than water. Its common sense lol. Also they should have a range, usually between 30 and 50% ec drop before change or...

Can you run a recirculating reservoir for 2 weeks...?

I have literally seen some of the worst advice in this thread ever. Change you water when the ppm drop below a certain point, depends on the strain. Some like it hot constantlty some like it in waves. You will know by the leaves and by metering your ppm twice a day atleast. For starters the...

    Clean Clones

Hey guys, just wanted to stop by the thread and add my 2c. I love when people talk about live dwc <3333. So something that might help you Rahz is alcohol ethoxylates. which is a ester based non-ionic surfacant. Basically it stops root rot from spreading between plants in the same hydro system...

    Ok wtf. Advice?

nute burn/lock up IMO. I use RO but when my plants are that small they usually get ~150-200ppm in total nutes. I wouldnt be giving them 500 till they are in like week 3 or 4 of veg and they are ~12-18" tall. If you keep top feeding they might not look for roots and grow more leaves but no roots...

Rapid rooter question from a newb.

you gotta keep it in a humidity dome till the rapid rooter is well colonized with roots. much after the first true set of leaves show and the stalk is began to get woody. then place in the hydroton with slightly elevated water till the roots emerge from the net pot.

    Weird Spots and leaf color

Humidity too low. Waht ppm are they? in low humidity plants drink more water and it can cause nute lockout, esp if they are young. just my 2c

DWC bubbles forming to the lid??

In a product or added seperately? Any reason you chose yucca over others?

Anyone else clone with only tap water?

#1 factor in clones rooting quickly is the mothers health before cutting. Give her half feed or 1-1-1 npk feed schedule. Too much N in veg formulas which will cause them to be too bush and weak cutts full of N that won't start looking for roots till its all gone. If cuttings are too green spray...

DWC bubbles forming to the lid??

Yucca is the surfacant that is causing the foaming I think. I use alcohol ethoxylates, they are the best overall non-ionic surfacant and its super cheap. Also stop zoospores from colonizing so if one plant has a root issue it will not spread to the rest of the plants. good for recirc and flood n...

DWC bubbles forming to the lid??

The bud candy has hydrolyzed whey in it, thats why it bubbles. Okay for coco and other soiless but a pain in the ass in hydro. There area lot of good cheap amino products out there. Let me know if you want some suggestions.

DWC bubbles forming to the lid??

The bubbling is probably from the yucca in the product. but its got abunch of stuff you dont need to use in DWC. https://www.1000bulbs.com/pdf/buddha-grow-msds.pdf You want a nice clean 2 or 3 part grow. Let me know if you need any help. All is not lost, you can just change the rez out and you...
