Papapayne I have been using black gold as my base and seem to feel the plants don't veg as fast as roots original but roots as carried gnats for me and has so much perlite in it. Is there anything u add to your vegging plants that are in the black gold? R u suing supersoil also?

Blue dream is a good one for your situation. I would take some major steps to keep the heat lower than 80 if u plan to pull 2lbs per light tho so as not to heat stress them
