I plan to grow a plant under a white 7000K light (big InGaN LED array). Is this color temperature good or is it too high? What color temperature is ideal for growing? I suppose if 7000K is not ideal I could just built this light using a combination of high power red and blue LEDs instead.

I was thinking this might be a phosphorus deficiency, too, but I wasn't sure. Since I'm giving the plants a good deal of phosphorus already (with the 0-10-0), I'd be surprised, but it's not impossible. Any other opinions?

Would something like that, which is >10x more concentrated than the 3-3-3 fertilizer, overdose the plants?

Some beginning flowering is happening. What ratio N-P-K fertilizer should they be given at this stage? Currently using the same 3-3-3 Organic fertilizer from veg.

It is possible that LED technology will replace CFLs in the future, just... not quite yet.

Possibly root-bound, try larger container. Also make sure your soil permits plenty of oxygen transfer.

Would a 200-400w HPS be safe in a 16ft³ grow area with mylar-covered walls? Ventilation is ~60CFM. Thanks.

Are there certain types that are better than others?

UV lights (and probably HPS lights too) are very bright and can physically damage your retinas, over time if not only acutely. What do you use for eye protection in your grow room? What's best?
