    i just topped my plants

About 2 days give or take. It also depends on how you topped them, with my experience is you're better off chopping the entire top growth off, instead of trimming/fimming it. Broke a leaf? Put it this way, outdoors with animals/wind etc any plant is bound to lose a leaf or two, so don't worry.

    incredibly cheap LED grow lights!

I have only ever seen anecdotal evidence of the 'power' of LED by most likely shills from the LED companies and their evidence is not exactly objective. Sure maybe 5 years down the track when LED tech improves and is cheap enough people will use it. SIGNS SOMEONE IS A CORPORATE LED COMPANY...

    Let them BURN

I think its pretty safe to say its not that detrimental to the plants if you let them burn... I'd rather have the reflector closer even if it means sacrificing a plant so the others get more intense HID goodness. I have seen a few grow houses with bypassed electricity and 30+ hid bulbs, in all...

Wasted my rockwool on males.. how to reuse?

I believe the basic method is to soak them in a diluted bleach or peroxide bath for a day then dry? What about the dead roots still left in the rockwool after ripping the plants out? They weren't too far into flower and only about 10" high so the root ball wasn't huge can I just leave these in...
