    Recommended dwc nutes?

Yeah you are probably using the gold bottle formula. They stopped making the original formula and started making that kind and it had really bad effects with a lot of hydro systems doing exactly what you described. Probably though about a year ago they came back out with a version of the...

    Three a Light???

This guy tells people to remove all of them to not leave one single fan leaf which is more radical than normal defoliation. i can imagine tons of newbies chopping everything except the stems then wondering what happened

    Three a Light???

From from I have heard about this book from a jackass in my hydro store who actually bought it, was that the only different thing the book teaches besides normal hydro techniques is that the author removes all of the fan leaves twice in flower I believe he said the first and fourth weeks of...

    Recommended dwc nutes?

I have been running hydro DWC for years and have used House and Garden. It's more expensive of the nutes but in my opinion worth every penny. I always get extremely good yields and always top quality buds. Easy to use also , with website giving precise directions and amounts of each thing.

anyone go from not using chiller to using one?

Just adding some more of my 2 sense again. I don't know how many buckets and Rez size your are trying to cool but what I found has worked for me well , with little to no issues, was ordering stainless steel and making coils for my buckets and Rez's. My main system is 4 -13 gallons buckets...

anyone go from not using chiller to using one?

Another benefit is that you can allow your room temps to sit around 76-78 if you also run CO2 and not spend as much energy on cooling the room. As long as the roots are in water in the 66-68 range the plant will be as healthy as can be. A chiller is a definite necessity for anyone running a...

anyone go from not using chiller to using one?

I have been doing hydro for years for the first half I didn't use a chiller. I didn't have any root rot issues or anything like that, and I always for the most part had very successful grows and results. Then I added a chiller into the mix and have seen changes for the better. The quality...

    Chilling question

Again not trying to get into an argument with you but I was simply pointing out which JSB also points out there is a reason that everyone says to not use copper and since I have seen how certain things corrode copper big time. Also this is the standard when setting up anything not just hydro...

    Early harvest??

Like stated above it depends on a bunch of factors but generally hydro is faster then soil and the only way to speed things up is to use CO2 which usually will finish the plant about a week earlier. Also don't weigh your crop wet it's only gonna upset you when you only get about a third of that...

    Chilling question

Trust me I wish copper would work cause as a plumber I have tons of it, but unfortunately it will wreak havoc in your system after I few runs and a 50 ft coil of stainless steel is only about $70

How to cool a Co2 Enriched grow room?

I run 2- 1000's with a CO2 burner and I picked up a mini split for like $700 and it's worth every penny. My cost to run every month went down from when I used a portable AC. I also have a dehumidifier in there temps always a perfect 75 with co2 ppm at 1500

    noob question

He is probably just a soil lover who is anti hydro because there is no reason not to keep a mom in hydro it's one of the easiest things to maintain

    noob question

Milk jug? I would spend the $10 and just get a black 5 gallon buckets for your mom to live in. Cloning solution is only for you to dip fresh cuttings in to promote growth you don't put it in your water
