just to give you an idea i...i use a 150w HPS as well...but i only grow 2/3 plants about one to two feet tall max and get about a zip a plant...the taller the plant gets with that little light the shorter the plant needs to be if you want decent bud.

signs of flowering can take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks depending on how long that plany vegs for and the breed. i usually veg for about a month and the plants usually show sex about a week after i switch lighting cycles

i used vinegar for probably 6 months...never had any problems. Although i know there are different kinds of vinegar....maybe you had a kind that screwed stuff up...? I dont know all i know is i never had a problem using vinegar

i use a similiar light...with some supporting cfls... i grow 3 plants that are around 1 foot and a half....some get to three foot tall...but the shorter the better....but yea for sure enough for one plant.
