    Second Outdoor Grow, different area.

We harvested two plants yesterday, this image is of one of the more ordinary sized colas, I started doing a little trimming to aid in the drying process and will freeze the shake for future use. This particular strain was given to me and the person calls it Berkeley Dream though I have not found...

    Sassy's New organic garden

I have read other posts mentioning Subcool, will have to check this out. This year, besides already having a very rich soil, I added a lot of goodies into each individual hole ( Worm casting compost, shrimp compost, blood meal, bone meal, guano, perlite and vermicultie, Promix ). Other than...

And still, I should have given them even more space in between. That row along the fence has little to no room between each plant and I have to get down on my knees to go cut out sucker branches and such to help create better air flow. I will know better for next years planting. One plant is...

Yes, but do not do what I did. When time came to transplant everything outdoors, I did just that, without hardening them off first. which resulted in ten of them turning male. Two of those that turned measured more than 5 feet tall. Good news is that all the others survived the transplant shock...

    Sassy's New organic garden

Update on the garden. Last week, we lost 10 plants to shock, they turned male and I had to remove them before they could do the same to any of the others. Two of those plants were already over 5 feet tall, so a big loss. Since then, all the other plants seem to be doing great, no more signs of...

    Sassy's New organic garden

Took pics this afternoon after we placed some fencing and make do pickets and cord in order to protect the plants from having their branches broken by high winds. They are beginning to look much better. :)

Here is why I give my plants plenty of room to grow. The first image is of one of my Headband 818's, this one measures some 4 and a half feet in height and close to 3 feet in diameter, and this is still in veg, what will it become as it grows, even in flower. Headband 818, one of my all time...

    Sassy's New organic garden

Hi chairroller :) In part to better walk between them, but more seriously, because I like to make sure each plant has the maximum amount of free space to expand it's root system, besides, I do need to allow for air circulation in such a garden. What seems like a lot of empty space will...

    Sassy's New organic garden

Hi Happygirl, :) It's mostly all going to become oil, and edible material, though I will certainly reserve some choices buds for my vaping needs. Have to go in garden today, after three days of pouring rain, to make sure there's no major damage to plants ( I don't think so, just being safe ). :D

I also have an interesting one in the garden, it's a cross of Nebula+Juan+Big ... also from same breeder, waiting to discover it's qualities. I have a couple more seeds of the Romulan for next year. :)
