I've been looking for a cheap MH light but haven't found anything yet. They haven't bolted on me yet, but the growth definitely hasn't been as good as I hoped.

i tried growing some lettuce with a wide hempy bucket, but it didn't work out too well. i'm trying a floating lettuce/dwc setup with a small mylar'ed grow box. it's got a little 50W HPS light from homedepot and a homeade flashing+mylar batwing reflector. i'll post more pics as the seedlings...

The Lowes by my house has a complete 70W security/yard light for $30 right now, bulb included. I'd buy that and just ditch the enclosure. I did a similar thing with a 50W HPS light from home depot and made a batwing reflector out of aluminum flashing, mylar and duct tape.

The hempy's are good so far. The indoor lettuce variant is a sterilite box with 4:1 perlite:vermiculite mix with a hole 2" from the bottom. I went with a longer box instead of a bucket so I could have more surface area. I'll post pics soon. The outdoor hempy with the lime tree has only been...
