I keep hearing this helicopter point brought up. If you don't live in Hawaii, or aren't growing several hundred plants in one location you DO NOT have to worry about helicopters. I'd say let er grow.

Its my experience that if you plant in a location with alot of late afternoon shade your plants will enter flowering stage sooner. As for forcing them in the field, good luck with that. I wouldn't bother even trying. Let mother nature take its course.

For my outdoors I use bio-bizz alg-a-mic and molasses. I also top dress with PSG.

Grow tents are fine if you know what you are doing. I have a 3x3 and a 4x4 and they are just fine in summer with a 1000w light. Is your light ducted? Also I run air conditioning in the room if the temps get to high. You cant just put plants in a confined space with no HVAC and expect...

I prefer to top dress with fertilizer and then just water over it. It's alot harder to be covert when you have black polytube and emitters all over the place. Generally you shouldn't have to water often enough to require a full irrigation setup.
