Brown mushy roots in coco coir

OK, here's the updated scoop..... I started giving them the tea. One measuring cup full when I water once a day. They just took off like it was no tomorrow. They are now four weeks into flowering and huge. The tea worked wonders! They look fully like hydroponically grown plants, not like...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

I did drip hydro for a long time and I can say it is a lot more forgiving than DWC. Im using the tea in coco running drip and the plants love it. It definitely got rid of my root rot issues. I had pythium so bad in my basement that my clones roots would brown as soon as they popped. I...

DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

I have a question. When I am making my tea, on about day 3 it starts to have a vague odor of brewing beer and sour milk. It is still foaming like mad, but the airstone gets a thick layer of dark brown slime on it. I have been tossing it out, sterilize the bucket and air stone, then brew...

Slimey part of root in DWC

Thats enough bleach to kill a horse. You should not use bleach and hydrogen peroxide together. The 5 ml 35% h202 should kill it. Use that amount for 4 or 5 days then either drop to 2 ml per gallon or switch to beneficial tea.

I have brown mushy roots running COCO. I have run 5 ml per gal of 35% h2o2 through it for two strait days now. It is sterile. How do I switch from the Hydrogen peroxide to the tea? I have some brewing. How much do I use? How often? Nobody will help me in the Hydroponics forum.

Brown mushy roots in coco coir

Hi new to forum here, I am growing in coco first time. Great growth up until I transplanted from three gallon to ten gallon pots. Couple days later I noticed the roots were getting brownish and a little mushy. The coco I transplanted into had been wet for three weeks in a black trash bag...
