I'm at week 7 of flowering bigbud. I was wondering if I should get a 30x magnifiying loupe to check out the trichomes. Is there a better suggestion to this?

So I'm four weeks into flowering two bigbud plants. They're going through severe nitrogen toxicity. These are grown hydro E&F. I drained half of the res and added ph'ed water back in. PPM's are 500 now (water natural ppm is 180). At this late in the flowering stage what should I do? Thanks

I am torn between my frugality and my love for great smoke. I am growing 2 plants via ebb and flow. I am going to add another 10 plant ebb and flow system and maybe a few hempy buckets down the line. Would going for the cheaper powder nute mean sacrificing quality or yeild? Thanks guys -love t
