I am currently expanding the CO2 in a second chamber to drop the oil out of solution. I would think this coupled with a condenser before the pump would prevent any state changes inside of the pump.

That oil was heated on a hotplate to thicken it up slightly. My most recent batch is a more opaque brown and is runny. I'll post up some pics in a bit.
