    Best led ?

for the $240 range, I would look up Vipar. they have got "400W" (3Wdiode) in that price range, plus they have a 600W (3Wd) and a 500W (5Wd) not far from that price range either. There are a couple of guys here that have used them if you search the forums and with good results as well. Also come...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

I dont. I thought Id just hang that thing in betwixt all the plants as they where getting taller to help add "filler" light, but I think the money would have been best spent elsewhere. Now it's going to be in the way of the dual 600W LED's I plan to switch too. Or just not at all... maybe it'll...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

x2. having a cluster fuck under the hood aint doing you a favour if the light can't get out. I think I might have to give that beer can thing a try. just a partial hood so the light isn't travelling that inch and a half up, up before refraction.

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

Here are the CFL's positioned over the plants. Not the best pic but you get the idea. There is also LED that is not pictured off to the side at a "safe" distance.

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

With CFL I would have 300 as a bare minimum, but yes, HID guys generally use the 50W/SF rule, so with cfl's I would follow that as a MINIMUM guideline and I would be hooding that mother like crazy!! But thats just me. I wanted to know if the rest of you where following that guide or what. I...

    Canadians!!

And there is that. I keep hearing guys have dud packs from over seas. This is probably why. The only way I'd order overseas is if I was after a specific strain that just was not available here, such as pure Lebanese, but this isn't a fancy it would serve a specific purpose. Im still trying to...

So who here is growing in true organic living soil?

I have to top one of my plants again today, after I have my coffee and finish this read. I'll jump on my bike and go down to the ocean pick me up some sea water in some jars. On my way back I'll stop and pick up some eggs from one of the many locals. She leaves an old refrigerator at the end of...

So who here is growing in true organic living soil?

Yes it is friend. I spent the majority of my life there. It's so much a part of me, no, I am a part of it, my physical appearance, my character, my soul and spirit... The things I do, how I think, the things I say. My emotions are like the winds on the mountains. Miss my old home. Glad I am...

    Canadians!!

There are a ton of seed banks in canada. Why would you want to out source to a company outside of your country, like herbies or attitude. Besides not buying from people who share your citizenship, you also are running the un needed risk of having seeds cross boarders which just increases your...

    2014/01: UBS + AAF, CFL & LED, indoor/outdoor

I think I may have a case of Nitrogen toxicity, possibly over watering also complicated by temperature change as well. 24 hrs and the plant is still looking like the pics provided. Dark leaves, drooping plant, slight claw effect on the top cola leaves but not a straight 90 degrees, more of a...
