Small Scale Aerated Compost Tea Brewer

I wanted to share a trick I stumbled on after trying to find a way to make a small batch of aerated compost tea. Most of the recipes I had come across described very large batches with complex aeration mechanisms calling for a bigger pump than I had around the house. While I was quite happy...

    Overwatering with Rain

Ripening buds in January with force flowering. I've gone and comitted to this one now so it's in and out till harvest. Whittling up something of a rain cover today and tomorrow but keeping frequent Neem sprays to avoid the onset of any mould.

Caught my plants praying in the middle of the night

I got some fundamentalist seedlings in the making right now. I'm don't start worrying till they knock on my door asking if I've considered the afterlife. But seriously, I have seen it come and go and not seen problems after.

    Overwatering with Rain

Thanks. I have a batch of seedlings and not much space around the house so I might have to take a hike somewhere to get them grown once they are ready. Had to germinate them or they would have gone old by the time I needed them. Keen for my first proper guerrilla grow but not prepared enough...

    Overwatering with Rain

Bit lower than NSW @lickalotapus but I have been taking her in each night to trigger flowering artificially. This started d because I was planning to flower in a spot that would not have sun by the time natural flowering set in but then I moved her out in the open and am force flowering to get a...

    Overwatering with Rain

Thank you everyone. I'm thinking Neem oil and Comfrey folar spray to ward off rot. Might even make a rain cover for it to give extra protection.

    Overwatering with Rain

Hi forum, Should I be concerned about rain leading to overwatering? It is unseasonably wet at the moment. I am thinking that the rainfall will be pretty oxygenated. Does this mean it doesent matter how wet it gets?

About to start my first time grow process. Indoor led 2x2x4.

I like your reason for growing. I also like my money to go to the right place even if the government doesent care where it lands. Post some picks when you have them. Getting your lights on and soil wet will start a major learning curve that you'll love. Good luck

    new plant 10 days old

When she's a bit bigger you want to know how to LST or Top or Fim. I prefer LST. As soon as the plant ha some height I'll bend it and tie it down. The plant will respond by growing back up. So you bend down and tie again. Any side shoots just bend them low and watch them grow. Huge space saver...

Australian growers - is this soil good for seedlings? Buying seeds online?

Soil, especially a well made organic mix is the way I go. This is for ease of growing more than any other reason. I wouldn't touch Hydro unless I had someone right there to hold my hand.

Australian growers - is this soil good for seedlings? Buying seeds online?

This is so true. It should be the basis for all debates regarding drug policy everywhere. So sensible yet so covered up by fearful rhetoric built up over decades.

White furry seedling stems - is this normal???

Hey @vostok recently force flowered an outdoor plant by taking it inside for 12 hours overnight. With the solstice passed in OZ can I stop pulling it in and out or must I wait till nature reaches 12/12. It's either Lemon Skunk or a strain called Crystal. Much appreciated.

Maybe a dumb newbie question, but here goes....strains from seeds

I have that but not sure if the strain. Would love an explanation if anyone has one.

    look at my cotyledons

It's good to know what's up with your plant but it's also good to let it do its thing too. You will notice before a plant dies from a problem but if you tackle something before being sure you risk making the situation worse and also having an extra variable in there.

Go organic and/or wait a while before adding anything is my advice. Too young for additives.

White furry seedling stems - is this normal???

I started in the shed in complete secret about 1 1/2 years ago. Advice here was not to grow unless everyone in the house knows. This was not an option at the time. I succeeded to harvest without telling but my second grow went bad so I had to move it outdoors to keep it alive. It was behind a...

    look at my cotyledons

The shouldn't hang around once the leaves grow big enough to support the plant. Withering is pretty normal I think.

White furry seedling stems - is this normal???

Haha. I spent ages at Bunnings looking for shit to grow with. Ended up using regular CFLs in a bedside table for a grow that nearly finished. Now I'm outdoors but will need to go back indoors when the winter comes. Just keep all your equipment and grow area clean. Cleaner than you would think...
