Wouldn't it be better ( if using the SoG method) to use a soil mix, that has about half the typical (variable-istic) Nitrogen levels, while maintaining, or even upping the P, and K ratios? The scenario i hold in mind when i ask this is a few small SHORT mothers (hence more than 1) 2 week...
