What is on my stem? It almost looks like plastic wrap or something. It seems to stop when it hits the cotyledons, so is this some sort of natural protective layer? Or is this bad? This is on all 3 of my plants. This is my first grow so any and all help is greatly appreciated. And yes I know my...

Yeah I agree with bugeye,I started GERMINATING from SEEDS on Feb 7th and mine are probably a little over half the size of yours. And it's been 19 days.

Hey star I have a question for ya. So I'm a first time grower And I was wondering what kind of a mix i need for nutes? Like a 10-10-10, 24-8-16, 4-6-6? I saw many different types at the store And I want to make sure I get a good one. Thanks!

Awesome, thanks ! I just added 2 more cfls so I have 4 of the 75w that give off 1400 lumens each so aprox. 5600 lumens. I also moved them closer they are about 3 inches from the lights . Today I will try to bury the stems close to that first leaf.

I read last night about re planting them and burying the stem almost all the way to reduce the height of the plant, this is perfectly ok to Do? Maybe I can do this today and re mix my pots with the soil perlite and peatmoss. I also moved them closer today like you said
