I have a week old auto seedling in a solo cup I put a layer of fresh soil on top and I noticed a little white bug on it I tried to grab it but it went in the soil before I could i'm guessing its an arcade I also pulled out a egg too. I was planning on using neem oil to get that little bastard...

Anyone ever use hyponex soil? I have a seedling in this soil been in there for 2 days soil seems moist still does this type of soil need little watering? I also mixed in about 20% perlite. Seems like this soil has poor drainage also.

I planted an automatic mary it grew a quater inch. The top was the seed attached to a green stem then under the stem was a brown thicker looking stem and stoped growing does anyone know if this was up rooting? Or perhaps another problem? Thanks in advanced.

I have a seedling in a 3 gallon pot I give it 8oz of water every other day but I noticed water is sitting on the bottom of the pot and the top gets really dry really fast. Does any one know what im doing wrong? Thank you.

I've been using finger test meathod but like I said the top layer will b dry but the bottom of the pot feels heavy so should I just leave the top dry if the bottom feels like there's water in it? How much water a day would you recommend? Ive been doing 8 oz a day for a 3 gallon pot.
