Day 23. These are only a few bud sites on 2 of the 4 females. The other 2 females went out side to finish. So they really haven't started producing buds since the days are still long. But I did keep the white widow and the better of the 3 bag seed plants.

I got some good news from one of the plants this morning.

I had a feeling it was a male 2 days ago. When the balls were small. I moved away then. So it hasn't been near since. I hope that's still ok. I saw it before I shut out the lights took it out and sent the others to sleep.

I'll post pics of this fuckers death later.

It's the same plant. But I'm just not 100% sure.

So basically you just grow and whatever happens.....happens. The sex of the plant is already predetermined before it germinates? I read up on the gas lantern method and that seems like the best way to mimic outside growing conditions.

What does cause hermies?

That definitely is some comforting news for me just in case. Bad storm season is approaching so you never know when the power is going to get messed up.

You know I always wondered the same thing. How do you get a female with no seeds outside. Since there's the moon streetcars ect ect

No sir lights out means lights out. No peeking for me. Although VERY tempting

I only ask because I've read that messing with the light cycle can stress a plant to be a male or hermie.

I'm assuming you finish the light cycle with the light on and keep on as scheduled.

So I'm one week into flowering. And my I had a power outage during the 12 hr light cycle and my power was out for about an hour and a half. It went out 3 hrs into the light cycle. Do I have anything to worry about?

So my first try at cloning was a failure. I used a rooting powder from home depot. Seems pretty generic. I've looked around and I've seen rooting gels powders rooting plugs. Different methods and styles of how to clone. But my question is to find out what everyone else is using? . Not what...

Can't wait to see them flowering. I'm looking to get the same size setup. I'd like to know how much your electric bill jumps with the 1000w bulb also.
