    Club 315w lec

I have to jump in on this conversation cuz I love a good old comparison of lights. I've done light setups in all kinds of ways. My new setup combines the hortilux 600 ballast that runs those new ceramic hps lights with a cmh 315 under a big ass hood(28"x34") and then I surrounded the hood with...

Low Voltage Parallel vs High Voltage Series Drivers

Hey guys so ive built a few lights and have done both constant current and constant voltage. My question is about my constant voltage drivers. They are the meanwell hlg 240 36b and i can hook up as many cobs in parallel as i want but the current on each cob goes down. Currently i have 4 running...

DiY LED Grow Lights with CREE CXA3070 COBs and CPU Coolers

If you are going to use 2 cobs make sure you get a driver that is dimmable because yes it could be overkill very easily. Each cob can easily cover a 1 foot by 1 foot area. 40cm in height is only 15 inches which isnt very much room for a plant to grow. If i were you i would definitely go with a...

DiY LED Grow Lights with CREE CXA3070 COBs and CPU Coolers

For that size you will only need 1 cob and a tiny driver. Probably only need to push it at 700 to 1050 ma

Lens and Reflector Optics for COB

I have my 3070 cobs spread about 14 inches apart from each other with no lens and i have awesome light distribution. Like i told the other guy i dont have hot spots really besides being directly under the cob. I could just imagine how they would perform if my cobs were 3590 instead of the 3070...
