First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

I ended up harvesting that plant about a week and a half after I made this post, and my other I ended up harvesting about 2 weeks early as well. Trichomes were still clear/cloudy with more cloudy and some amber starting. The high isn't bad, but a bit racy (I like racy, heady sativa highs...

How to get the most from my trim??

99% isopropyl, to repeat myself, is a stronger solvent than 91%, which means it will dissolve more oils more quickly (with chlorophyll being highly soluble in alcohol). Try making qwiso with 70% Iso and tell me why it didn't work or you had to soak it for much longer. This is because it is a...

How to get the most from my trim??

Because 99% Iso is a stronger solvent than 91%, therefore able to dissolve more oils and colors from the bud into the alcohol with a shorter washing time.

What flowering week would you put it in?

Most, although I have one sativa dom and one hybrid with equal sativa/indica characteristics that started flowering within the first week of July. The seeds mostly came from a long time local outdoor grower, so I figure they must have adapted to the shorter growing season here throughout the...

How to get the most from my trim??

I like to make qwiso. Get some 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol (99% can extract more cholorophyll but is an ok alternative, 70% has more water and takes much longer to dry). A quick google search on qwiso should tell you how to make it, it's fairly simple. Small yield but great quality.

First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

Ultimately, in the end, I'm sure it won't matter. I recently got my medical card and registered through an LP (I'm in Canada) so most of my homegrown will be turned into qwiso for smoking on top of my medical anyway... Maybe I won't flush, or minimal flush as it shouldn't matter for hash making...

First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

Thank you for your pointless mocking. If you dont think I should flush, could you explain why? Most of the reading I have done talks about flushing when using synthetic salt based nustirents in container growing. Care to explain why you don't flush? I have no experience with flushing or not...

First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

Thanks for the info. I know that the leaves aren't good for judging trichomes. I am using synthetic salt based nutrients. So maybe I should wait about 2 more weeks (unless whatever is wrong with her forces me to harvest early) and flush then?

    Leaf Hoppers

The biggest problem with leaf hoppers I find is that they pick an area and very quickly reproduce, leaving tons of them on one of your plants. I have had some unexplained brown spotting (looks similar to a calcium deficiency) and leaf yellowing on some of my more heavily infested plants. I can't...

First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

Forgot to mention, I am growing outdoors in 15 gallon containers, hence the when to flush question. The leaf damage may also be cause by the thousands of leaf hoppers I have living in my plants.

First successful outdoor grow, when to flush? Pics included

Hey, so I'm having a hard time knowing when I should be starting to flush/harvest my outdoor plants. They started flowering really early (first week of july) and to me look really close. I have noticed a few amber trichomes, but mostly on the sugar leaves, the rest are clear and some don't have...
