Kona Gold: The Blood. Rare Hawaiian strain

I have some seeds a friend gave me, of his, that I have not grown yet. I just have so many more projects in front of this strain. I tend to close up shop for the humid summer months and clean up. Maybe all these angry comments just pushed it up the ladder a bit.

plants start drooping towards the end of the day

I have found some strains are a bit more picky on moist soil (or less root room) than others and the first sign is late day droop. I tend to water those strains with less water.

    Help please

look fine. I tend to use 1/2 strength Myco Madness to build up roots the first few weeks. I find solo cups with holes cut on bottom for drainage best. Easier to drop them out for transplanting. good luck

Kona Gold: The Blood. Rare Hawaiian strain

I am a selective breeder. I give away my seeds legally and only ask that they leave me feedback on my website. I figured if the product hits a market need I will know - then maybe I can sell things. It has taken many many years to get just two excellent strains stable. For my taste. I have many...

Kona Gold: The Blood. Rare Hawaiian strain

Kona Gold, Acapulco Gold, Panama Red and many others have been pretty much lost..but why cry over spilt milk as todays hybrids produce more and much higher quality. than 70's field weed. Although I must admit I love Swami Cherry Bomb...the closest to the real Muai Wowie you will get.

    Organic vs. Chemical nutrients

If you are going first time with organics. Remember this: You are feeding the soil, the soil will break down the organics to provide nutrients for the plant naturally. Chemical fertilizer you will see plant uptake in days, organics can take a week to see results. I like adding a couple tbs to...

    HPS Distance to Plants

distance depends, with a 600watt I keep 16-18 inches between tops and light. When I first started I used to raise and lower the light. I now just raise and lower the plants with various size platforms.

    HPS Distance to Plants

Remember that you should be viewing the color of leafs under some other light other than HPS. Leaves are always darker shade of green than you think.

Weigh in Overwater-Over Nuts- Umass SourD

I say lockout due to how green the leaf seems - it should be a dark green large leaf- to me not a deficiency issue. Only the large sugar leaves are doing this.

Weigh in Overwater-Over Nuts- Umass SourD

A friend has what he says is an original Umass Sour D cross - that was doing awesome and has some pretty good juicy buds, but now 2 weeks from harvest his leafs are doing this. I say he has nute lock out due to too often watering, he thinks it is normal 2 weeks from harvest. To me either too...
