I'm having the exact same issue with one of my five candy cane autos. It's the largest one and the stem is very thick, but very flexible. Too flexible to be in flowering stage (according to my experience with photo strains in flowering...their stems are rock hard after a week under hps.

Hah nice. This guy isn't crazy though lol, there is an entire hobby devoted to finding morel mushroom sites, bc then the hobbiest learns how to keep that site protected and keep it reproducing. It's a hobby for some, for others, it's just more food

These candy cane autos are freaking tolerant though. It's almost frustrating having to just let them do their thing lol, but at the same time, it's nice being able to focus more on other things in life. Autos definitely have their place in the growing world for newbies and "pros"

That's what I would like to know. With regular photo strains, I easily pick out the males by week 4 or 5 of veg. Being that some autos are done within 6 weeks completely, I'm making sure I keep a close watch on them. I thought autos and fem seeds had come so far that it would be hard to produce...

That's kind of wild though, after paying extra for auto fem seeds, that some could turn male or hermaphrodite. Normally I grow photo strains, but took a break between grows and decided to dabble in some autos. Hopefully they will stay female. Thanks again

They are still to early for buds, but one is showing passive preflowering female signs (the large one right next to it). Here's a better pic. To early to be asking this question I'm assuming ha.
