    Lighting upgrade

I agree with you. If you don't have sufficient heat 2 CMH lights would be best for a 4X4. I've never used a double ended CMH. In my mind 2 lights would give you a nicer footprint

    Lighting upgrade

I have 2 X3 500 watt ChilLED lights and a smaller 200 watt small space light (sorry I don't remember the name). I got an 10 oz plant last season in hydro using the 2 X3s And did pretty well with the smaller light. ChilLED lights are easily some of the best you can get, and some might say...

Got gas? King Tut in RDWC

Yeah, they get spendy, and they put a serious hurt on your electric bill. I got lucky and saw how they cool aquariums sometimes. This method works by evaporation. As air moves across the water it evaporates a small amount. Given the constant action from the fan it can noticeably cool the...

*Stress the hell out of the plants at the end of flowering!! *

I tried a 10000K lamp at the end of flower a couple seasons ago. This is an older method, used with MH/HPS lights. It sorta made sense, UV stress to promote oils and such, so I tried it. I didn't see anything benefits. I've tried darkness, intense light at the end, but ive never seen any...

Got gas? King Tut in RDWC

I did a nute change today... to be honest I'm still in the middle of it. One major change is the use of a new Silica. You may remember I bought a new one. MSA Stout from Alchemist. It's about $55 for a gallon, which may sound like a deal if you know mono-silicic acid, but the dose is 5 times...

Res Cooling: PC Liquid Cooling Radiator Hack

Thats cool. Good thinking, I dig the test results. I've been using a 6 inch fan to cool my water for almost 5 years. It will cool as much as 20 degrees in a dry/hot environment and can be controlled with the use of a repeat timer. Downsides are: it doesn't work well in a humid environment...

    when to drop water level

I started in DWC too, I've branched out a bit since then, but im a hydro guy. I've had my water level above the netpot and inches below by mistake and sometimes on purpose and haven't seen any real difference. If you are seeing algae or other pathogens that isn't nessisarily due to water...

Got gas? King Tut in RDWC

Hello again. I'm sorta like Haleys Comet. I come by every so often to find answers then fade out to return later. Well, I'm back and looking for answers with CO2. I have 2 King Tut plants from Pyramid Seeds. I've grown this strain before but it was in soil. I'm trying it again in a max...

    Using CO2 for heat tolerance

Good afternoon I'm super green when it comes to gas. I've never grown yeast or mushrooms let alone work with a tank. I grow in a shed in Southern California and have always had heat issues. Last August I had heat problems. The high was 102F in the room with many days over 95. I use Silica...

Plannts are cupping, bottom leaves are drying up

I've heard that. I've never had them. I guess the trick is adding enough peroxide to kill the bugs, but doesnt melt your roots, but again, never had to deal with them

Plannts are cupping, bottom leaves are drying up

Yeah, that was next. I *think* it's something easy, like a Nitro issue, I just wanted to kick it around with some of Roll It Up's finest. Thanks all

You're so polite! What are you doing here on Roll it Up? I'm not talking about any of the folks helping me now of course, but, there are some rude mother fuckers on this forum haha. I dont think I've ever gotten a thank you before

Plannts are cupping, bottom leaves are drying up

I looked at the pot a little closer but found nothing flying. I reached around to the other side and didnt feel any root balls that could have gone bad. I dont think it's a bug thing in here.
