    What deficiency is this?

Thanks for the info. Just an update. I have fed twice with cal mag and foxfarms boomerang combined at about 3/4 recommended dose with water at 6.25 ph. The plants look much improved and I think I’m on the right track. Thanks for the help and cheap entertainment everyone!!

    What deficiency is this?

How long do you give a plant to respond to changes in nutrients or enviornment? I don’t want to keep bombarding them with changes but I want to correct the deffiencys asap when they arise.

    What deficiency is this?

That makes sense. I pulled the dead yellow leaves and the next day there were as many or more so I figured it was still robbing nitrogen because it’s not getting it from its roots. The top growth looks fine to me. A bit lime colored but not bad. Seems healthy to me. Am I wrong in thinking if the...

    What deficiency is this?

By decent dose I meant less than a full dose. I didn’t just blast them with a ton of nutes. I gave them less than a full dose and they didn’t respond well so before giving them any more I was thinking I should flush but I’m not sure.

    What deficiency is this?

So I gave them a decent dose of nutrients and I’m not seeing any improvement, maybe even a bit worse. I think next on the list would be to make sure the ph of the soil/coco is good and treat(flush) for lockout. Am I on the right track? Can anyone walk me thru what they would do at this point. I...

    What deficiency is this?

I’m pretty sure this is a deficiency but I’m not sure which one. I’m growing in 1/2 soil 1/2 coco with Perilite. I didn’t add any nutes to start and I think I waited a bit too long to start. Anyways what does it look like to you? I figured it would be nitrogen but some of the leaves seem to be...

    Watering half coco half soil

Thanks for the info. So how do you do your watering. Do you let it dry out completely? Do you use more nutes than normal soil?

    Watering half coco half soil

It was a suggestion from a friend who grows with it. The idea being it has the benefits of soil and coco I believe. You get the benefits of coco and still have the forgiveness of soil. You could also use straight water more because of the soil. That was the reccomendation. Now that I’m a month...

    Watering half coco half soil

I’m doing a grow using half so I will have Coco. With soil I wait until it’s completely dry to water again but I know you water more with Coco so my question is, how often do you water.? Do you wait for the mix soil to get completely dry or do you water a little more often to get the nutrients...

    Prevent or reverse accidental pollination

So here’s the situation. I have two tents I’m growing in. One grow in tent A went south and a few plants hermied real quick on me while I was trying to nurse the plants back to health. I noticed it yesterday and there was already pollen all over a bunch of the leaves. My second tend, tent B is...

What to do for root rot in rockwool

I was just planning on changing the light schedule and nutes back into veg for the whole tent. If it’s possible the plants will produce a good yield similar to a normally grown plant I think that would be easier than starting over. But if they are going to limp along and not produce quality than...

What to do for root rot in rockwool

I think that sounds like a good option. Would you expect the yield to be comparable to a grow that went as planned without the problems I ran into?

What to do for root rot in rockwool

Ok. For sure the experience is invaluable. Are there any downsides to revegging? After a new good veg cycle, would you expect similar results as a normal grow?

What to do for root rot in rockwool

I agree it’s not the Rockwools fault but it’s my third grow in Rockwool and it just seems too unforgiving for my abilities and ability to stay on top of with my time schedule. As far as the yield is concerned I’m thinking it’s just not going to be worth it to spend all the time and money...

What to do for root rot in rockwool

Do you guys think the plants are worth saving. I’m trying to learn so the expierence is worth it to me but I won’t be using Rockwool again so I don’t want to waste time if I’m not going to get a decent yield. A few of the plants seem nearly dead to me. What do you think? Are the worth trying to...

What to do for root rot in rockwool

Thanks for the help everybody. I think it’s a combination of things. I got some bad advise and didn’t research Rockwool specifically enough. I’m pretty sure it’s root related. All of the plants are affected differently so the root problem makes sense to me. I was not aerating the reservoir. Big...

What to do for root rot in rockwool

Here are some pics. I don’t know how to look at the roots In Rockwool. I’ll try to smell them and see on that.

What to do for root rot in rockwool

What’s the best way to diagnose and treat root rot in Rockwool cubes. My plants are in the third week of flower and for the last ten days or so they have been slowly dying. I don’t think it’s nute burn or a deffiency. The tent as gotten to about 85 a few times and I’m thinking the temps may have...
