    Thank-you Rollitup Community

There's 7 plants altogether, with about 80 tops. And lots of scrappy bottom stuff. But that's a whole new set of questions for another day. Next generation have been in veg over 3 months, (still too long), but 3rd generation cuttings have just been born, and have all the space they need.Looking...

    Thank-you Rollitup Community

a few weeks ago, I was getting very nervous & posted some questions about various (1st grow, newbie) problems we were having. I got some sincere responses, and tried some things. Haven't become a master grower or anything, but managed to save 'the girls'. So thanks. Our plants were stressed, 5...

    Too late to transplant?

Hi, I have fairly large indoor plants that are in way too small containers, but I'm 4 weeks into flower. (1st run) Probably no point transplanting now? (transplant shock vs. rootbound slow down?) Water does still drain through, but they are excessively root-bound. You almost need a hammer to...

    Soiless pH problems

I will let pH come up, but the pots are almost too big. I don't water until the plants feel very light, so not sure how I can be overwatering? I water a couple litres in each, let it soak in well for 5 minutes, then go back & then add more until I get decent run-off. The plants are on kitchen...

    Soiless pH problems

That is what is confusing....some leafs look deficient & some look over fed??

    Soiless pH problems

1st one looks a bit like a deficiency and 2nd in definitely nite burn, tip burn, clawing from too much N.....ppm were high, the flush may stabilize this?? Hope

    Soiless pH problems

Oh, and forgot my main response....haven't done any massive flushes other than this one....... We always wait until fairly dry, then water to drain, give them regular 0 ppm r/o doses to help keep salts down, every couple feedings. I am just going to worry about the ongoing pH though... this is...

    Soiless pH problems

Thanks, will try to relax a little. Plants aren't dying, but definitely not healthy.....frustrating. They've survived a lot of shock getting moved around and living in less than ideal spaces for awhile. (Long, boring story). Will see how things react next few days, tried a few different...

    Soiless pH problems

And I have tested run-off from new Promix just in a pot with no plant to see what comes out at 1st, then after a 2nd watering etc. It behaves as stated, this is just weird??

    Soiless pH problems

Thanks for the response, but I checked the plants in veg room, and the metre is working fine. Run-off water tested fine. I'm one of 1000's of people using Promix & Advanced Nutrients so I gotta believe it's not the nutrients. And as I said, I flushed with LOTS of plain R/O water, pH adjusted to...

    Soiless pH problems

pots I use the mycorrhizae as well, and I flushed the soil over & over until the run-off EC was coming out below 100 ppm, but the pH just refused to get lower, poured 5.0 in, 6.5 came out......over and over and over again. After that many flushes, how can the pH not drop?

    Soiless pH problems

Hi, using Pro-mix soiless medium, A/N at 3/4 strength, (which tests out at 5.7/5.8 pH before watering) but my medium run-off is always 6.5 range?? Soil probe says it's even higher, but it's a cheap probe (have ordered a better one) I tested various pH level (non-nute, R/O) water through my raw...

    Droopiness.....????

I have larger pots (3,5,7 gallon) that I wanted to use, but circumstances of 'stealth' limited the space I had getting those 1st ones going. Getting into my full 4 room grow now, so can transplant to any size I want. Next question then (which is all ultimately a matter of...

    Droopiness.....????

I'll work on changing that chemical thing.... For now I wanted something easy.

    Droopiness.....????

I do test run off, and when it's EC or pH get high, I flush really well.....maybe I'll try keeping pH a bit higher, thanks.

    Droopiness.....????

I know the pots are too small, could this be part of it? Had no space in original veg room to transplant (long, boring story)?? Circumstances got me to this place.....just hoping for some advice ie...pruning etc.....

    Droopiness.....????

Temps are good....25-26 C daytime, 22 C night. RH 50ish day, 40 night. No CO2 yet, filtered air intake. Running A/N @ 75% strength, soilless promix, with soil ph testing around 5.8- 6.0. 0 ppm R/O water base. Nutes testing 700-900 ppm. 8 x 315w cmh over 7 plants, 50/50 mix of blue & red...
