    Unusually pale seedlings in soil!?

Hi Hotrodarley, The leds were pretty close at about 3-4 inches but it was only a 60w. The HPS is at 30 inches with a light mover. Also I transplanted yesterday, they were in a seedling tray before that.

    Unusually pale seedlings in soil!?

Hello Rollitupers, I have been growing for quite a while now but I have never had that problem before. I am growing an Afghan strain in a store-bought organic soil. The temps are between 62f at night and 72 during the day. The humidity is around 65%. I have been watering with straight water...

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

True that Michael Huntherz. Every strain comes from Asia originally just like we all come from Africa. However, these Moroccan plants have adapted to the harsh dry conditions by flowering regardless of the photoperiod because they receive more rain at the beginning of the season but it quickly...

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

Hello XTSHO. Thanks for your help buddy. The fact that these can start flowering before switching to 12/12 is really interesting. That is probably the Moroccan heritage. However, these are supposed to be Sativa, not Indica. Did you grow it out? How did it taste like?

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

Thanks for the info buddy. Wow, that's crazy. I knew that they had started growing some new indica strains from Afghanistan/Paki but didn't think it would spread so quickly. Do you think there's a chance that in some remote areas they may still be growing the old Moroccan Sativa strain?

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

Thank you KLX. Yes I have been to Morocco before but I was in Marrakesh. And yes people are very friendly and welcoming. No worries, I don't intend to bring back anything illegal whatsoever. Just seeds if I can find the real old school Sativa strain. Seeds are tolerated worldwide aren't they?

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

Hey GroErr! Thanks for your input. I heard a lot of positive things about ACE and The real seed company. I even got me some Malawi seeds. Kudos to you for preserving the old genetics dude! However, nothing that looks like a pure Moroccan strain. A german guy did bring back some seeds to grow...

    Saving the Moroccan Landrace

Hello Rollitupers, I have been passionate about the history of our beloved plant for over 13 years and more specifically about landrace strains. Unfortunately, it seems that just like regional accents and dialects, landrace strains are also dying out and disappearing quickly. It can be...

Are Auto's Fertile? Can they be seeded?

Not if the mom is an auto. If she is, you can't backcross because the mom is most likely 6 feet deep already (Deep in your lungs:bigjoint:). If the Dad was a real dad and not a reversed female, you don't have to make female seeds. But you can if you want. If you run a large number of plants...

Are Auto's Fertile? Can they be seeded?

If you cross these 25% together over 5-6 generations, the auto trait will most likely breed true. You only got 25% because it's a recessive trait.

Are Auto's Fertile? Can they be seeded?

True, Lowrider is sold as regular seeds. However, it's the first generation of autos. Not very potent. If you want to go that route, you're going to have to cross these with a more potent strain and then stabilise the autoflower trait and the potency.

The Best Soil Mix for Growing Cannabis Outdoors

Thanks for the tips Mariwana lady, I consider Subcool to be one of the best breeders of all time. It would've been awesome if you had some pictures to go along with your tips. I use to go to the forest to scrape off the top soil and collect it into some trash bags. The forest top soil is...

Up you Urban Gardening game! ️

Hey Blake, I didn't think posting an external link that contributes to helping people was such a terrible thing for you to see. By the way, I removed my signature tho it wasn't even a link. I'm passionate about learning more and sharing that knowledge with other growers. We are a small...

Hey Too Larry! I love the mini greenhouse that you built. Your seedlings look good too. Since it is underground, does it insulate the plants against the cold better than with a traditional greenhouse? 2 acres, seriously? This is crazy! That's more than enough to feed a whole family isn't it...

Day 71 of bloom and needing help please!!

Hey carguygtp05, Your plant isn't really showing signs of end of cycle. To me is looks like it was being slightly over-fed (Nothing too bad). Otherwise it's all good. The plant looks good and is full of trichomes  Day 71 doesn't mean it is the end, it depends on the strain. I think you...

Up you Urban Gardening game! ️

Thanks for the cool tip Too Larry. Yes it's a great idea since, that way you wouldn't be using any of the precious space inside your apartment. I'm growing some peppers (Jalapeno, Salsa, Mini Bell), Tomatoes (Tiny Tim, Tumbling Tom) and Aubergines/Eggplants under a 100w LED. and some mini...

    I suck at growing weed

Some growers start the final flush 10 to 14 days before harvesting to force the plant to consume all the left over nutrients available in the soil and within the plant. Honestly, if you flush for a week, you should be okay. Cheers fro Dublin,

    Soil Prep

Watch out FinTheFarmer, perlite is great for an indoor soil but keep in mind that it breaks down over time and end up forming some kind of cement. If you plan on growing big plants over a long period of time, I would replace it with sand, clay pellets and things of that nature. By the way, 400...

    I suck at growing weed

It happen to me before and the culprit was a over-fertilisation. The buds looked good but tasted like hay and did have any effect. Maybe you need to do a longer pre-harvest flush When do you usually start the final flush? Cheers from Ireland,

    Help Please, droopy leaves

Hey Latitude36, It looks like a lack of water or an over-watering. If your pots are heavy, chances are, you gave them too much water and the roots are starting to rot. If your pots are light, the plants simply need more water. Weigh your containers and act accordingly. Either water thoroughly...
