There's a strain called Dinamed by Dinafem. According to it's description it has absolutely " No Psychoactive effects" and is used exclusively for it's CBD content. I'm in a similar situation. I have cancer and was looking for something high in CBD and low in the and came across this strain. Plan to grow it soon also.

I want to start smoking without getting high, so I have been doing some research about this. It's rare to find good 0 thc strains (there are not many), but there are some like Candida, Charlotte's web or Harlequin. While not 0% thc they are pretty close. Of course all this are high CBD. I haven't tried any CBD yet but some people describe it as feeling high. Different kind of high.

I started a Hurkle grow about 10 days ago. 1:1 strain. Around 6-9% THC and 8-12% CBD. Heard the effect is very mild with almost no high. We will see. If not, I will buy Candida from Medical Marijuana Genetics or Nightingale, but Nightingale can get almost 10% THC, with 21% CBD. If this is true, from what I've read, CBD negates THC effects, so an high CBD strain shouldn't get you high even if it has some THC.

Im interested in crossing two high cbd, very low thc strains but I've heard that you could get high THC plants from the seeds.

*Also, CBD Therapy from CBD Crew is very low THC, I heard it tastes like sweet / earthy.

Why would you want to smoke and not get high? If you want the med benefits, just make or use cbd oils. If I didn't get high, I wouldn't be risking my lungs by smoking. Makes me think of people that start vaping just because they like the flavors, sure, damage your lungs for no reason. And don't even try convincing me its "safe". While there may be evidence that smoking cannabis is RELATIVELY harmless, introducing any foreign matter into your lungs is not a good idea.

But hey, whatever, it's your health.

I grew CBD blue Shark and also smoked cannatonic from a medical source.. Trust me.. you still get high and it's no fun.. The CBD doesn't counteract the high in my experience.. I think it has to be cuts from a lab tested mom to know for sure that it doesn't have much THC..

The blue shark I grew was pretty interesting.. The buds were very drak and smelled like maple syrup. I actually couldn't even give it away :) Strains are getting better though..

Here is to the first person on this thread that can grow great, smelly bud and take a video of themselves smoking a joint like an herbal cig :)

It's pretty crazy how much interest there is in this topic.

CBD does not negate the effects of THC.

There are lots of strains of hemp that flower very nicely and can be smoked, but have less than 1% THC.

Another thing you can do is collect kief from any strain and use it in food or tablets WITHOUT heating it first. The decarb process converts THCa, which isn't psychoactive into THC, which is. Therefore, not heating it will give you the result your looking for. This means not using it in baked goods, for example.

My friend grew a field of hemp this summer and he's keeping some choice spears just for this purpose. It's plenty frosty and officially certified by the Colorado Department of Agriculture to contain 1% or less THC.

Any ideas where I can get extremely low THC seeds? I see that Canimed has some 1% THC bud, but no seeds. I also see that some labs are producing 0% THC strains, but not selling the seeds..

Why do I ask such a silly question? I love the taste and smell of weed and like to smoke. I just don't like being high.. I'd still want nice big juicy nugs..

I've tried the so called high cbd strains but honestly there's still too much THC for my liking...

Maybe I should just stick to clove cigs :)
Check out Oregon Green Seed. They have a few options that are just what you're asking about.

Or conversely, heat it long enough to convert the THC to CBN. CBN is said to have a very soporific effect. I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my tick list.

I've got some pennywise and hurkle in the nursery tent now. I always wanted to try some 1:1 strains. Hurkle is sativa dom and pennywise is indica dom.

Interesting. I've never tried this.
