1 gallon or 2 gallon for my auto.

Hey guys, I am getting an auto-flower strain as probably most of you know lol.
I was wondering, would it make a big difference in size if I get a one gallon pot instead of a 2 gallon pot.

I can't have my baby growing too big, but in my opinion there wouldn't be much of a difference if I put her in a 1 gallon instead of a 2.

Don't really need 5 gallons for autos, they have small root balls.

You'd be better off in that space with a 3 gallon or like a 18quart Rubbermaid.

I'd go with the 2 gallon just to be on the safe side. The less soil you're working with, the more precise you have to be in everything you do simply because you don't have the volume to make up for any oversights at all.

Example: Miss a watering on a 1 gallon? Could set you back a week or more to recover. Miss a watering on a two gallon with twice the soil and trapped moisture to draw from? Probably set you back a day or two.
