The blue mystic I hear is one of the less smelly of strains to grow in terms of stealth?? Is this true my friend does it ahave a weak oudour when its in flower???

Got my new air cooled Radiant hood installed! I just have some small 57cfm computer fans on the ends of it exahausting the heat into the tent since i dont have room to really run ducting. It'll save me some heat stress and damage adding that class in between for sure though. I had some bad burning when i went down to install the radiant so good thing i did it.

Yeah I would def have someone just water it for you. Even if they fuck up a little bit you'll still be better off than pulling early. Not worth putting all this time in for a small early harvest.

The plant will AT LEAST double in the weeks after flipping to flower, by looking at the picture of yours you'll fill that net easy if you flip. Just keep those branches laying sideways so all the new shoots can get light and they'll get themselves up there pretty quick. Basically don't let any tops face up, always sideways.

That is what they say, but honestly I grew it in my closet with CFL's and it stank my house up at 1 month of veg. I think a lot of smell comes from plant health, humidity, temp and so on. So in the right scenario maybe it is less smelly in a side by side? Outdoor is probably less smelly, my one friend who has been growing forever finds that the more open the space is the less the plant smells, for example a 20x20 room with pot plants growing would have less odor than a 3x3 tent with pot growing in it.

Blue Mystic is a great indica smoke though, I can't wait for this harvest. My first grow of it was like i said under CFL's so it was just 3oz of fluff balls. Looking forward to having some real solid buds, I can tell I'm gunna have a huge cola of it too because while on vacation one of its branches really sprung up high so it's gunna suck a ton of light in and swell up.

hey anon I'm looking at a 315 cmh/ lec they're not real pricey like the led's & supposed to fill a 3x3 flower area & equal to at least 500w of hps while running cool & consuming a true 315 w. they have a thread in indoor growing the 400 won't quite pull my 29x29 screen the outer edges won't quite fatten up it is true 400hps=24x24 I'm gonna pull one more from current set up as I'm getting it dialed in led's are just so cost heavy I'll eventually get one but not for awhile

Yeah there seems to be something to that -- my "theory" at the mo is that in a small closed space likely there is negative pressure created by the ventilation sucking air through the growspace whilst an open setup just "airs". Yet another thing to verify by experimentation? Dam I need to stop experimenting and grow some serious weed LMAO

I'm thinking of going all in and purchasing a 4 pot alian dwc system and a blulab nutrient stabilising device u saw a guy using in a u tube video I was watching and made feeding/ph testing/ec reading a doddle. Just got my self a 200x200cm tent along with a few parabolic 600watt set ups with maybe some led for flowering for side light if the led grow I am doing now turns out ok witch is so I'm glad

Yo bro! Long time no talk, I forgot you was growing out blue mystic, I actually started a journal and I have 5 going right now. I wanted to ask you since you've already had experience with this strain, I flipped to flower 18 days ago and I still have no sign of preflowers but their stretching like crazy, did you find this with your grow as well?

You could be waiting another week or so but don't wurry the stretch will stop any time soon without seeing a picture and some grow room statistics eg: lights / feed/pot size ect: is it auto or is if feminized???

But yea I got 5 feminized, the last photos I took were from last week I believe. I did an update tonight but I wasn't able to upload any photos as my internet has been stupid slow lately..
Any ways I'm Running a drip system in clay pebbles, using house and garden nutes, I built a nice little 5 COB light bar too and tent is 150cm/ 80cm or somethin like that?

Also I'm not sure what trouble your having for your pen... I don't have to dip any solution in mine... It's just an electronic reader that you dip in the nute water and it spits out a PH reading, and I have another that spits out a PPM reading for how concentrated it is

Sweet sounds like you are not messing around. Did you build your own cob light did you mention??? I would love a run down of that adventure?? U have been looking into building a cob but first I will work my way through some factory standard LEDs just untill I get a feel for them. I have looked in to the cxb3590 3500k I be leave they are 100watt but draw but run at 50 watt or somthing like that?? I estimated for me to build a worth while light I would have to buy 3x cxb3590 3500k 3x cxb5000k.with all the he motors and heat sinks /wires/the holders the work. It would cost in the range of about £600/700 but would be worth it.

The ec pen situation is I have no idea how to read it what is 202 x10 us??
it Suposed to be 2.76 when in the buffer 7 agent????.

I have no instructions with it I was only testing stuff before I get ready to dive over to hydro dwc growing and wanted a better understanding of ppm/ec carryon lol. But I think I might purchase the blulab all in one nutrient stabalizer/ph/ec/tept machine???? I don't know much about this stuff I'm in the middle of researching the best way to grow 1 plant in dwc?? Ant sugestions????

There's a few threads on here about DIY COB building and honestly all my knowledge about COBs (which still is faaaaar from complete) came from here and more specifically GrowMau5's YouTube channel and what he says on here.i honestly don't know how many watts I'm pulling out of the wall, but the whole setup for 5 cobs ran me 600€ and some odd euros and that's after import tax I believe? There's a cool kit from cutter that you can get that has all the important stuff and a grow mau5 video about building the light... If your gonna be growing only one plant I gotta honestly say that you only need like 1 or 2 COBs those lights are powerful as hell lol

You have been very helpful thank you my friend. And Im only growing single plants at the moment because that's all I can grow at the moment untill I move property again. The cob build would defiantly be for more than 1 plant. I wanted to build a 600watt equivalent to hps in terms of power and light spread. A 600watt cob could grow 4/10 plants I think depending on space??

Your welcome! But Again, just do some research on the COBs from Google, RIU, and growmau5 YouTube Channel. Check out my last photo that I put up last night on my journal. It's a 5 COB setup with 5 plants and their little green monsters

in one of his videos growmau5 did compare a 1000 watt gavita to a Cree setup. But the jist of it is 600 watts from a CXB setup isn't the same as 600 from standard lighting. And a lot has to do with lumen output and other science stuff like this
I'll be putting another drip system in on the next run, or imma try for an aeroponics system, and I'll try a SOG with 12 or more smaller plants with the same light setup cause right now my ladies are bushy as hell and I'm running out of headspace in the tent to raise my lights

So would I have to buy say 2x 3590 3000k 2x 3590 5000k top bins. Are the cree 3590s diffrent wattage ?? Like 50w/100w/150w ??? If so I'm finding it haRd to fjnd wattage outputs on these cree led chips any info bro??? Im completely new to this tech.lol

To be honest I got no clue lol, I'm new to it too I just followed the video when I made the light but I still don't have my head completely wrapped around the science side of it. :wall:

I believe I went 5 3500k or 4000k bin, hit up growmau5, realstyles, or any of the other guys at the DIY Cxb thread, they got a few threads on here specific to this subject! :mrgreen:

If you got any more questions for me DM me or ask on my thread... I'm not trying to jack anons post lol.... Although I would be interested about his response to my blue mystic question :sleep:

Just watched a few cutter vids and that is so cool man. I ray want to get stuck in to these cobs but therw still pricey?? From what I have read comparing watts is pointless to a certain degree because if 300watt led can rival a 600watt hps/mh then it's all about intensity and spectrum wavelengths??? I think I could get say 2x 3590 300 and 1x 3590 4000k 1x 3590 5000k 100watt 80 bins would defiantly be enought penetrative light for a 2mx2mx2m tent 6 plants I think?????

Nice, i've seen a lot of good things about those cmh's. It'll be great to see you actually use one so i can see what its about! Nice, eh even some smaller ones on the outside wont hurt! Yeah i've seen a lot on those DIY cob led's that are cheaper and great results. Maybe check into those
