I was thinking the same things, then i used this: Fertilizer PPM Calculator

This isnt exact, but it helps alot. if you go somewhat by the PPMs in widow makers guide, you should be okay, i used my 0-50-30 and my fox farm tiger bloom nutes and measured with that calc about 800 ppm and i didnt burn my plants, just something you could try.

Don't mean to give you a hard time, Bro ... but why use something that you "just found lyin' around?" Do you know how old these ferts are? I'd say, start off with fresh nutes and the plants will show their appreciation at the end of the flowering cycle. You've probably seen this recommended before, but in case you missed it, here it is again:

Vegging: Peter's "Jack's Classic" 20-20-20.

Flowering: Peter's "Jack's Classic Blossom Booster 10-30-20.

Here's where to order from by mail: Jack's Classic Plant Food from J.R. Peters, Inc., Fertilizer Manufacturer - Jacks Classic

Hope this helps.
