Thought I'd give a little better introduction to the new strains, I believe I missed getting pictures of the last 2 strains as well. These pictures are from a couple days ago and the plants have pulled through the transplant and have been fimmed.

Hazy OG ( OldSogs SSH x SFV OG ) from Cali Connections:

Raskal's OG aka Fire OG from Cali Connections:

True OG aka Ghost OG:

Alien Dog ( Chemdog D x Alien Technologies ) from Cali Connections:

DJ Short's Blueberry:

2 White Widow seedlings from Nirvana:

edit: Those spots you see are not mildew, it's Cal-Carb.

Hey guys, thanks for all the concern, I've been doing great I just still don't have a camera for myself so making a bunch of word updates is pointless..

One question I've been mulling over recently is when to switch from early to late stage bloom nutes? I've been switching at about week 3 1/2 on 8 week strains.. wanted to know your guys opinion on the matter.

Day 25 sounds about right to me. Maybe on the earlier side. I'd say it's more like day 27 from flowering start plus or minus 2 days.

Close enough probably...

I think it is good to be a bit gradual with it.
During week 2 to the end of stretch I'll run a 3-2-3 ratio at about 1.4ec
During week 3 I'll run a little more phosphorus than nitrogen, but basically a 2-2-3 at 1.6ec.
During week 4 that's when I'll start to really push the phosphorus, use a 1-3-2ish ratio, and a 1.8ec.

Every week it is a little more phosphorus and potassium, a little less nitrogen. Week 6 is a 1-6-5 at 1.9ec before the levels are dropped a little for week 7 and by week 8 it is just a little ripe in maybe one feeding to gradually ween the plant off and slowly flush out the elements.

Week 6 is when I'll switch to Ripe. I plan on using around 10ml of that with some hydroplex and Bud Candy, then I'm going to use maybe 3-4ml of Cal-mag to balance out the nitrogen with all those bloom boosters and help out with the low micro elements in the ripe.

Did you know they have a Hydroplex made specifically for soil??? Better concentration and ratio for Coco I think. I found it at hydroasis.com if you wanted to pick up a bottle online.

How are things T0rn?

This thread never pops up no more in my sub folder! WTF is up with that? ;)

Miss your updates, hope all is well.

Even thou someone answered it, I dont switch to full bloom nutes til after the stretch. Makes sense to keep em on the higher nitrogen when they are still producing foliage and getting threw the stretch,
So yea about week 2 is when I xfer over to full bloom nutes, and increasing them as the weeks progress to a more concentrated formula (if they can take it).

So, I might as well make my first post back at least slightly informative. I've finally figured out why my soil pH has been dropping drastically for the past few months.

If you're going to reuse coco, you have to deal with the roots left from the grow before. Either some sort of enzyme product or meticulously going through it by hand and picking out all of the little pieces yourself. The decaying root matter in the soil lowers the soil pH to lockout levels. I've spent the last month flushing my entire garden weekly trying to figure out why my runoff kept dropping to near 5.0.

I'll have some pics up soon, harvests have been steady and I'm looking forward to some new genetics going into the flowering room soon. Oh, if you're ever looking for beans, Cali-Connection has some amazing genetics. I'd recommend the Raskal's and the Hazy OG.

Yea, I have to treat it as though it's an organic media right now. Been feeding at 6.5 and everything's going smoothly. Going to pick up some Hygrozyme when I have the cash but I'm looking into h202 solutions as well.

I don't know if what I heard is h2o2 but I had used a tiny bit of dish soap as an added wetting agent for the first grow...seemed to work pretty well if you remember :)
