Growing in a 10x10 bedroom with a bathroom attached. 2x 600w 2x 400w m59 MH. 1x 5000 btu 600 cfm ac. 2x 4in vortex type fans with charcoal filters. Temps stay 72-77 no matter if the lights are on or not. Smell is not an issue. 33 plants in dirt. 11 in FFOD. 11 in FFHF. 11 in Botanicare ready grow air. Which is trash imho. 8 in DWC tub running GH 3 part. The 11 in Botanicare had a nute lockout problem because of how much water it hold. More than half coco I think? That was addressed and fixed. Started flowering 3 days ago. This is my first ever grow journal and am looking for any advice on maximizing my space. Love you guys and this site. Have used it for years for refrence. Please post comments and criticism at will! Look forward to updating every 4 days! Thanks in advance. From a true Montana grower! Will post again tonight with way more photos. Can't get in till 8pm! Ok forgot before I posted lol. Plants are all from seed l. 90 day veg. Some are different sizes depending on when I transplanted and what soil they went into. All are female.

Thanks a bunch chem! I have an extra ac on hand. My RH here is very stable at around 55% on average and with the ac it drops to around 40 on average. Do you think that is ok? Or will it rise a ton in flower? Instead of a dehumidifier could I bring in more fresh 50% air? Thanks for the reply!

The humidity will grow up in flower for sure.

To be honest. I ordered 10 seeds. 5 blue cheese and 5 cali mist all fem. Then I planted about 60 seeds I have been saving from all over the u.s. I traveled for work. Got paid good bought the best smoke and saved any random seed I found. From cali to ny. To Texas to Vermont and back here to montana. So I planted them all along with my 10 ordered seeds. And I came out awesome. 31 females out of 60. Separated and started blooming. So I have about 20 unidentified strains. I did this because this is my first grow in 5 years and I want to make sure my room is dialed in before I commit to a certain strain. The next grow will be nothing but top notch genetics. Thanks for the reply! Can't talk to anyone around here about it. Had to find an outlet!

But AC should help is what I meant to add.
Ya I have the ac running 24/7 on 71 degrees with a backup incase it burns out. But now I'll be getting a dehumidifier just in case. Don't want mildew or mold. Keeping it at around 30% in flower should eliminate all fungus correct?

I have a dehumidifier that I run off and on to help keeps temps between 73-78 degrees. The RH fluctuates between 47% to 57%. I have never had an issue with mold. If I ran it 24/7 I have never seen the RH lower than 40%. I wouldn't stress too much 50-55% RH is perfect. Here is my CSI Humboldt Mendocino Purple Urkle day 47 of flower. CSI genetics are straight fire:leaf::leaf::leaf: They smell like a grape skunk with a strong berry scent as well. Hard to see but they are just starting to turn purple.

Awesome. I will shoot for 50% during flower making sure to not breech 60%. OMG! Your girls look tasty! Nice and fat bro. Gives me hope lol. If you don't mind I might pick your brain on some flower nutes? I've kept it simple so far but at day 3 I all ready know I'm going to need some better stuff come day 14. Obviously I'm looking for a 1-2-2 or 10-20-20. But not quite sure what to use in dirt. Looking for something simple? A 2 part? Might just double up on my GH 3 part for my DWC tub and use it for the soil to. Hate adding 10 things during flower. Like to stay at 4 products max. Thanks for the reply!

I keep it very simple for my nutes. I use Fox Farms 3 part series for my Veg and Flower Cycle as a base. I add Cal mag from Botanicare, Big Bud from advanced nutrients weeks 2-5 for a booster, and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients weeks 6 and 7. I then flush week 8 and 9 usually cutting down at 65-67 days. I have never grown in DWC but I also add 1 tablespoon of molasses to my water. I will feed then plain water and molasses then feed and repeat.

Awesome! Thanks guerilla! I'll stay simple with a 3 part and add cal mag and molasses. Keeping my ph at 6.2 so it can float from 5.7 to 6.7 and make sure I'm not deficient. 5hanks for the feedback bro. Just what I was looking for. Can't wait for you to taste those ladies! At a 2nd glance they looked like straight chronic. The type of girls I want to grow!

That setup if used correctly should put out al least 2 pounds every 2months, or 1 pound every month, depending on ow you play it, Maybe a bit more if you add a light mover.
Worked out what your monthly running cost is yet?

Thanks! Ya electricity is 220 a month. That's including the rest of the house. Laundry showers and what not. I'm hoping for a little closer to .75 grams per watt. Obviously I would like 1 to 2 gpw. But until I get strain # of plants and environment down .75 sounds good. Shit 1.5 lbs a month would be great. Have another veg room with a mother and 40 clones ready to full the flower room up after this harvest. Thinking of starting more and doing more per month but who knows. Thanks for the input ANC!

Each of those 600s is good for 3x5 roughly, divide the rest of your space into rooting, and veg, you can either run two parallel sets or stagger them one month apart.
You don't really need more than 2 plants to cover that area in flowering but could do a few more in veg, just to pick the best ones. You need to decide what you need, be it a specific yield for medicine, or just a dependable source every month or two, if you need more than 1 pound per harvest you will need not only stronger lighting but also more space (about 5x5 on every 1000W) light movers can potentially increase your yield by 30% You get one that can move 2 or 3 lights simultaneously

Thanks for the input. I'm reaching for 1 gpw at 2000w. So 2000g every 2 months. I have 40 plans in my room. Is that to many? Should I focus on plants per light or total number of plants? Stretching isn't bad and I have 10 foot ceilings. Need 2 lbs a month. Thoughts?

I'd try a scrog, plant count is not as important as is using the full area as a canopy.

You need to have the scrog set up before it flowers. At that point, if the colas start at about the same level, you could let them shoot out during flowering, the extra 2 ' is handy.
If you feel you can't veg them big enough in 4 weeks after 4 weeks rooting, you can look at using larger numbers to fill your space.

Do you have air conditioning and dehumidifier yet? At that level of output, heat is an issue, but also most of the water the plant uses is exhaled into the room via the stomata.

Yes I have a 5000btu ac running most of the time. RH stays at around 50% my climate is very arid plus the ac. I've never tried Scrogging. I usually supercrop and top several times before flower. Also with the 4 light hung independent I can move plants around under the lights and match plants with similar height under certain lights. My temp stays 72-77 whether or not the lights are on or off. I had 1 day where my ac shit out and I had to change it. It got to 90 but it was corrected immediately. There are a few leaves with a sign or 2 of heat stress but nothing serious. I'll send pics I just took with this reply. Thank you for the advice man I need all I can get lol.

And just to verify my room in the pics is my flower room. I have a large closet with a mother and room for cloning and transplanting. I have a mix of 3g bags. 5g buckets and an 8 site DWC tub.
