Wow man seems kinda long for not flowering yet, I have a plant 12/12from seed in a pc case and it started to flower in less than 4 weeks from seed.

You couldn't find anything other than that old paint can to put her in?

Seems like contamination waiting to happen, especially if that's a full month of growth and it's still that small.

just to help you understand that you'd be lucky to get a few calyxes (.001 gram) out of that light set up... need more lights...

soil looks very peaty or barky and def too heavy of a soil and is stunting root growth thus top growth... especially if you keep the soil too wet...

try a lighter soil mix with close to 1/4 perlite...

It has nothing to do with how clean you think it is. it is the contaminants in the old contents of the can
may still have an effect on your plants.

yes lights of the same kind are ok... get at least 6 total 23 watt 6500k cfl bulbs as that is the best option to give that thing time to get its veg goin again vs the stretching goin on...

keep a fan oscillating at all times acros the box or have some type of ventilation system and that will help with letting the plant breath better and have access to fresh CO2 and air in general...

dont overwater MG soil it will release too much fert in the soil as there is osmocote time release crap in there that basically gives the plant a dose of nutes every time you water... so let soil dry out well till pot is lightweight again and then water well... let dry then repeat... then after 2 months the nutes should be flushed out by then and then you can start to add your own fertiliser combo for low nitrogen high P and K flowering nutes...

just noticed the can... does it have a very good amount of drainage holes on bottom of can??? if not then it will definitely need drainage and lots of it ;)

cans are fine... just search the coffee can grows on here and you'll see why its perfectly fine to grow in a can LOL ;)...

and you can try and catch up and find out what they did... ;)

good luck and enjoy the grow...

Yeah that thing should be bigger by now, more lights and more closer lol. Like someone else suggested 2-3" is good, but you can go closer even, 1-2" if you have good airflow.
