1200W LED Grow Panel from Geyapex, how do you think?

Hey guys, this is our most powerful led grow panel which draws 1185 watts on the wall with 4 switches on.

There're 9 pcs of cxa 2540 cree cobs (if people don't like cxa 2540, we can also use citizen cob instead) and 16pcs of full spectrum monos on the light, people can change the power draw by 4 switches, and we have 3000k and 5000k cob for people to choose, and there different spectrum monos, full spectrum, super bloom and super veg, so people could mix all the 5 spectrum on one light as they like, the price is 1299usd/pc including DHL shipping. anyone like it? how do you think of it? (:

CXA 2540... Really? Why the old school tech? I mean, i can understand not using CXB 3590 these days, but CXA 2540 seriously? That's like 10 steps down the ladder. Why not use Citizen or Luminus COB's? They're cheap and performance is excellent.
This doesn't make sense to me at all

Because using cxa 2540's and mono's is the only way you pack 1200 watts into a 4'x4' or 5'x5'. If they used more efficient cobs it would only be an 800w light :p

This light reminds me of an Amare. Probably just as overpriced. I guess it might appeal to guys with lots of money to blow and who think having a magical mix of spectrum actually grows better than a typical cob.

that's easy, if you don't like cxa 2540, we can also use citizen instead :)

May I ask how much of the led grow light power draws do you like? the lighting coverage? and how much of it you would think is reasonable ?

to be fair the fficiency of 25xxseries can be matched.....this isnt the generic argument of ....this old tech and therefore isnt efficient......of course i dont like the layout but all the wanna be engineering is driving me crazy....everyone show your work with math or your argument starts to breakdown......i bet running 2540 in a diy rig @60%efficiency is the same cost and ppf output/watt as say the newest tech at 50% efficiency....so i am trying to follow the argument here....but

2540s can be efficient. but they cant hang with bigger chips at 50W

per pct, cxb3590 172 lm/W at 50W, 3070 172 lm/W at 35W, 2540 172 lm/W at 18W, only 133 lm/W at 50W
no one is inferring that..your the last person i want verifying my math....sorry

just going by the OPs design of 800W of cobs in a 16 cob fixture. i cant see 2540s getting there. would make a nice 400W fixture tho

The full spectrum mode spectral graph actually looks very good. There's green in it, less than blue and red, as it should be. I wouldn't bother with the bloom mode at all, or even the veg mode, just put it on full spectrum and leave it. This is assuming the graphs are real.

my bad i was loking at the pic in the avatar and didnt go look at the site and see its 9 cobs, and mostof the light appears to come from monos in the 16 holes

so all bets are off for how hard they are running. ill shut up now

spectrum on those look nice, though 1150W in a single fixture seems to be working backwards from what we like

The stats for the 2540 are readily available to anyone with the click of a button. I wasn't inferring they were old tech, I was merely stating they aren't as efficient as other choices.
