I think they are over priced. you get more lumens and more wattage for a cheaper price by going with the smaller wattage cfl's ie 42 watters.

There are some out now twice that big. But they just aren't a good deal and the bigger they are the harder they are to move around and position.

i have a 105 w that is pretty large like that but still spiral and standard e26 socket so it fits in a regular light socket... i dont know if the australian b22 base is compatible with the ones in the states or if it is mogul base.... anyone know? my 105 w is pretty easy to manuever but i keep it above the rest of my cfls with a reflector hood and it acts as a mini sun to supplement some 6500k while im flowering. it is too big to have close to my plant as my plant grows pretty damn fast and i would ahve to move it alot but with it up high it works well andi could tell a fairly sizable difference in growth when i installed it in my box. if you are going to get it i would suggest that you either make sure you have the space for it or use it as a supplement to other smaller cfls that are placed much closer to your plants. i know that cfls intensity dissipates quickly so when i say i have it above my others as a l ittle "sun" i mean that it is 6-8 inches away rather than 3-4. i feel with the power of the light it is still giving me a good boost at that distance, especially since i have just one plant right now.... sorry if i rambled but i hope this helps.
