15min. auto delay light controller

Hello, I'm having power outages and brown outs here that are pissing me off lately.
I wouldn't be surprised if my plants hermie from all this.

I need my magnetic beast ballasts to not want to fire up the bulb emmediatly after a blackout.
(I already set up a UPS backup battery running a small cfl on the same time as light, so if main ballast/bulbs shuts off, the little cfl on the battery backup will hold the cycle.)

I remember years ago seeing a light controller/timer that had a built in automatic 15min. delay in case of power outage before firing up the bulb/ballast again.

I cannot seem to find it again easily and am tired of looking, does anybody know the device I speak of?
Can you give me company name/model or a link please?
or any other suggestions if there is a better option out there.

Thank you for any help.

Thank you very much Michigan grow bro! This is exactly what I was looking for.
From your help, I found this one also just now, this is actually the specific brand I had in mind but couldn't remember.
C.A.P. HLC-3e
and I'm gonna look at CAP's other devices maybe a nice all in one with some extra features for good price. I don't wanna spend too much on this shit ya know.
For most of these devices, the price is right, now just gotta decide, would be nice to find the titan 2 at good price. Gonna first check what I can get locally.

Thanks man!!!

Any thoughts about CAP vs Titan? Any experience with CAP company equip?

Just read this in hades 2 pdf, that each plug can only handle 600w, I guess for 1000w bulb the hades2 won't work. that's stupid.

Hades™2 – Digital Recycle and Lighting
Timer with High Temp Shut-Off
The Hades™2 is designed to control: HID lighting, a recycling timer for pumps
or CO2 enrichment and a nighttime output for use with a circulation fan or
heater. It can control up to 1200 Watts (600 W per outlet) of HID lighting and
incorporates an internal temperature sensor, which will automatically shut down
your lights if the ‘Maximum Temp Setting’ is exceeded. It also features: a 30
second preset time delay between the 2 lighting outputs, an internal clock with
a battery back-up and a ‘Hot Start Delay’ setting that controls the cool down
period for your lights in case of power outages. The recycling timer can be
programmed to run during the Day, Night or 24-hours and it also has a battery
back-up to retain your settings in case of power failure. The Hades™2 keeps
your garden growing.

(In future I want 2x600w setup instead of 1K bulb, but not now, not soon. grrr...)

Yeah but on a budget you won't like it.

You get what you pay for. My titan stuff has worked perfectly for years and I live with power outages and surges here.

I have found much higher quality with sunlight supply brands than hydrofarm. For a price.

CAP is cheap Chinese electronics in my opinion from the price points.

It's not stupid. It's cheaper and perfect for my 2 600w Grow at 120 volts.

They make many controllers that can handle your watts.

I know, I know, I just wanted that one! for that price..lol.. fuckers makin me look at the higher models. :D

Lol.

I'm not stuck on brands. I'm sure there are others that may have a controller that fits your needs.

Just sharing my experience.

There is a mid priced brand called Blueprint controllers.

Blueprint, I have never heard of, others yes. I'm looking.
Thanks x7 man!

Within days or by next week I'm looking to have something setup, will let you know what I did in the end.
I'm leaning to titans stuff, maybe just get controller for future expansion etc. so no double buying down the road.. I assume most higher controller models have light delay function...thinking...
THANKS
