Looks dam good man props. I wa likin your thread. Since it was just a lil ahead od mine. Today is my 39. Unfortunatly I'm havin lots of problems now. I have deficiancies wit them. I'm thinkin calcium n magnesium. I don't change my buckets. I just refill. Everyweek or so n top off. They get new clean stuff at the transfer from veg to flower. How do you do it with yours? Did you have big changes with growth at my stage cuz seems like they slowed down a lot. I'm jusy curiois how you do it cuz yours looked healthy n good sized. Its so hard to move the plants to clean buckets!! So I don't. Hit me back I'm real interested with these ?'S. Thanks! +rep!
That's your problem, and I think you already knew that. Can't be lazy bro and expect success.Every 2 weeks change your res. it's a must.Do you check your tds/ec levels???

Hi there, thanks for the props, they are drying up nicely. As to your question as to how my system works is this : i drain the resovoirs every two weeks and refill with fresh nutrient solution, my tubs make it easy because they have drainage holes. When my water level drops during the 2 week periods i refill with water strength nutrient solution is needed at that time. these whit berry's were heavy feeders, they felt like you couldn't give them enough...lol. After I harvest i clean everything so it looks brand new again and i already have my next set in and going I'll post pics, thanks again

yea i check em when i make the batches. whenever its time to top em off i use the same mix i used when i originally made that bucket, or whatever that week calls for. i cant actually move all my plants and take each n every bucket and rinse clean replace n refill cuz that would take like 3 hours of nonstop work.

would i be able to get a pump and drop a hose down to the bottom of the bucket and suck out the old nutes every two or three weeks? and not worry about actually cleanin until harvest??

what do you mean by water strength nute solustion? n im curious how you no they are heavy feeeders. how do you no they want more. what do you look for? n when you have problems how do you no what to cut down on or add more off. this is all what i dont understand. after i post this im adding an update to my flower if you guys want to take a look n give me advice on whatd you do i would really appreciate it.

if you could tell me what to do with the problem with my leaves and i just found two plants with roots discoloring that im sure is rot. i would love to hear what steps you would take to fix these two problems.

thanks the help is greatly appreciated

Sorry that was a typo i meant to say "what ever strength nute i am using at that time", The reason i know these are heavy feeders is because when i give them the high end of the bloom solution and then refill with the high end of the nutrient solution and the plants respond well to this with no leaf burn, with other strains i've grown i've had to refill with a mild nute solution instead of full strength to keep from overdosing the plants. These white berry's are indica dominent and from what i've read and experience with indica dominent genes is that they tend to take in more nutrients than sativa dominent plants, but there are exceptions within different gene pools. If you follow the direction to your nutrient solution and drain every two and refill with fresh you should have no problem, A pump like you said that you can drop down in the bucket would work great for draining the bucket, your plant will thank you for fresh water and nutes this also keeps the salt that builds up from damaging your roots and causing nute lock out. i hope this answered everything ok if you have any other thoughts i would be glad to help or explain more about my setup.

oo ok . i gotcha now. so you only drain and refill with fresh every two weeks. between then you top off with the same mix. is that right?

what level do you keep your res' at. do you let them get low then fill back up to top or do you constantly keep at the same level? would these two diff ways change anything? i let mine get low then fill back up. usally around a 1/4 full ill fill back up.

so you dont have any of the leaf issues that i do in my flower grow in my sig

About how tall did the WB grow? I've got some going in 3 gallon buckets in a vertical set-up and am hoping 3.5ft is enough without topping.

Keep topping of at the same level you start off at with water, the concentration of your solution becomes stronger as the water level drops, see water is what evaporates and gets consumed,of course nutrients also but not as fast as the water does.If you check your ec/tds levels you will see when your buckets are low the ppms will increase drastically and can cause nute burn and make your girls unhappy...,..,.,.,,,.,.,.,.,.,.,.Add nutrients also if you top an your tds/ec level is not at the desired levels.Moving buckets is one of the reasons I stay away from dwc. Here's an idea,What if you get an extra empty bucket and replace with the 1 you are changing 1 by 1??That way you have somewhere to put your plant while changing the reservoir.I know it's labor intensive but hey you gotta do what you gotta do.

thanks man . yea i have thought about that. its gunna take time. but i think im gunna use the pump to pump out all the water and that should save me. and ill keep topping off. right now i have been filling and letting go till about a 1/4 or a lil less . i bet that could be part of my problem. but that goes back to my same ? does a deficiancy mean you can too much or too less?

thanks props to ya bro. do you think theres anything i can do to fix my probs in my sig flower or you think i should just drain n replenish n theyll fix themselves??
