1st Clone Success

Brought 9 clones through today, repotted them and put them into veg. What a result, I'd almost given up hope of ever having success with the clones.

Those rockwool cubes are the business. 1st time trying with these as the other two times I tried in soil. Still got some soil ones. 14 of them. They're not doing so well. still got about 20 to come through in the rockwool too, but they are in bigger cubes so they'll probably take a bit longer, maybe tomorrow. I bet they're rooted already. I'm tempted to pull the cubes apart to investigate properly but it won't do any harm to leave them a couple more days. Excellent! I didn't even have to buy a propagator. we just ad-libbed with kitchen stuff and cling-film.

I'll post some pic's in about a weeks time when they are all vegging nicely.

I know what it is, but altho it helps clones development and improves survival rate it aint a rooting solution, what u are looking for is something like Clonex...using this gel in the cut stem and placing the clone(s) directly into rockwool cubes will sure speed up the clones root development, this way they won´t relly only on leafs to feed...

Sorry Omega. Yes, I used a rooting hormone. It's in a small un-labeled bottle and it is a brown watery liquid. I'm not sure what it is as the Clone King gave it to me. He simply called it rooting hormone, said it was pure hormone.

another 10 clones through today and the rest aren't far behind. since we got rid of the fridge and put them under the bigger grow flo' light even the soil ones seem to be perking up and i swear they're developing new growth. We're going to leave the soil ones 'cloning' until the rest of the rockwool ones are covered in root and then just bung them into veg' along with the rest. We should have at least 10 out of 14 of the soil ones make it and all 32 in the rockwool so we should have 42 fem's for our next crop. All we need to do now is buy more light, more fans, and some much bigger pots. I want a better yield next time, i think 3 times whatever the yield this time would be a fair estimate. Experience is a wonderful thing.
